Good price, good quality, nice set. Works on both dogs & cat effectively. A little harder to use on a thick, long haired fur, but still managed to get the job done. Getting a cat used to it is a bit of a process, but “NEVER GIVE UP! NEVER SURRENDER!” (Galaxy Quest 😜). Dogs love it, but hey, that’s a dog.😉. They’re up for anything that resembles a scratch!🐶

Sooo found a flee on the cat. So instead of moving we got these flee combs. They are well made and useful. Turns out it wasn’t an infestation but keeping the combs close! Oh and arrived the next day!

The flea combs get out about 50% of the fleas.. There is a thin groove where the plastic and metal meet and when combing, the flea lands in that groove. I can’t get the flea out to squish it before it jumps and gets away. I’ve tried dunking the comb in a bowl of water mixed with Dawn. The flea falls out of the groove and dies, but then the comb is wet and my cat’s fur gets wet from the wet comb. This really pisses her off and she runs away, leaving me with painful scratches (I’m already combing a moving target). Other than that small groove, the combs are sturdy and work in all kinds of fur. I comb my cats everyday, sometimes 2x a day. I have 5 cats, 4 are fosters one adopted me, so I’ve had experience on long, short, fine and thick fur.
