Solid piece. I was worried that it would be too flexible but it is a perfect solution to a bent objective bell that prevented a screw on sun shade.

There is absolutely no way this will fit the PA 3-18x50mm scope. It's WAAAYYYYY too narrow. Seems like it might fit a 44 or a 46mm. Even if I stretched the rubber coupler over my objective, the shade is so narrow that it would reduce the field of view drastically. Great concept. Poor execution.

Fit the scope perfectly. I wish there was a broader range available. Only beef is the price, for what it is.

Excellent for a $15 fix. Quite sturdy and a good option as no one makes a sun shade for my 50mm Vortex Crossfire II scopes. I do not bump my optics, so movement is not an issue for me. Looks quite decent on scopes.

The good:It measures over 4.5in length.Lightweight plastic.Rubber coupler attaches 0.5in onto scope. The crazy part:I bought a 43mm to 48mm the smallest one listed.Advertised to fit 1.7in to 1.9in Outside Diameter objective end of scope. My scope is very low, 32mm objective, but the AO makes OD big.The OD measurement of the objective end of my BSA Outlook 4x32 AO is 1.75inOutside measurement of this shade 2.29 or 58.17mm, the rubber coupler OD is even larger.Inside measurement 2.06 or 52.32mmSitting on the gun, it's 0.5" taller than my mounted scope.I tried to fit it, it turned upwards, rubber coupler touches the barrel. It doesn't fit anything I own, Nikon 40mm, BSA 40mm AO, BSA 40mm side focus, Nikon 44mm, etc..It's not tight enough to hold on the BSA sweet 40mm AO.I have a Centerpoint 3-9x50mm in a closet at the farm house. Going to see if it fits that scope, if not, I will be returning this shade.I suppose a person could modify this to fit just about anything, but what's the point of modifying something that's advertised to fit? You can never return it after it's modified, it's definitely not a re-sale improvement, a big zip-tie would hold it on a lot of scopes, maybe? But THAT would look real cobbled, and for me, and my hunting rifles, I'm just not that guy.YMMV

I needed a sunshade for an Athlon Talos BTR 4-14x44 scope, and this fit. It's not a long term solution as if you pack our rifle on or in a rucksack the shade wiggles loose and comes off of axis with the scope bell. In the rain the rubber wasn't tight enough to not let water inside, so if you are using this product you might want to attach the shade to the bell with some duct tape to secure it in wet weather. Is it a great value? No, it's a piece of plastic tube and a piece of rubber, but it does the job. If you don't have the option for an aluminum screw in shade (Athlon was out of stock for the Talos) then this will work until you can get a better shade.

It fits great (measure and select your size) it doesn't look weird or out of place on my viiko scope (another Amazon purchase)

Looks great, fits great,…just does not stay put. I understand it is held on by a glorified rubber band, but, make the band longer so it grips a larger surface area. Not currently using this. It is in a miscparts box as we speak.
