I bought this for a Winchester model 70 30-06 rebuild, and it fits perfectly needed no modifications whatsoever, and after mounting my new scope, it performs extremely accurately

"This product comes with mounting screws" No it actually does not. for what i paid for this i shouldn't have to run around and go find screws now also.

Well the PLM252702 mounted fine, I had to bed it though as there was a slight gap at the rear on a 1977 Mod 70 7mm. Before I put it on that rifle, for sh!ts and giggles, I tried it on my pre '64 .308 that is supposed to take a P0M252702 mount that is $35 more in price. Everything lined right up, and no gap whatsoever. I was surprised there was a gap on the 7mm receiver, oh well, the bedding should be set in a couple of hours and I'll sight in when the weather cools off. The POM252702 for the 308 seems to be on backorder everywhere and mine should get here in a couple weeks. Maybe I should have just ordered the PLM. I'll update when it gets mounted to the 308.

Very satisfied with product and shipping. This is just what I eneeded to allow me to bring my scope closer to my eye so that I have a full view through scope when I bring rifle to my shoulder. Before I had to lean my head forward in order to get the full view which can be very awkward when trying to make a clean shot.
