Used on a Samsung s21 fe.This tiny lens works well. I have been trying it out on a few things. You do have to get really close to the object to get a clear image, but it works. I took the picture of the tiny jumping spider on my tomato plant, and it got a great detailed picture of him.

I bought this for an inexpensive way to zoom in on documents in archives, where you can often take pics with phones but not much else. I have yet to try that, but I’ve been so pleasantly surprised with how well this works when just trying it out by taking pics of house plants! It’s pretty astounding and a lot of fun. You have to get VERY close—an inch or so away—for the phone to focus, and you will have a very shallow depth of field, but it is also amazingly sharp! I edited the pics in Instagram to punch up contrast, and I am happy with the results. I anticipate having a lot more fun with this, plus it makes my phone lens look like a minion eye :) I am concerned about durability, but time will tell. If it lasts a year, it will be well worth it and I’d buy it again, especially for the price.

It works as described. For a very low price, you get a way to shoot 4x close-up photos (the magnification is not extreme). No bells and whistles, obviously, but nothing to break, and it's very easy to carry with the phone. You do have to move the phone physically to focus the photo properly, so be aware of that. If you want something that has more features, you won't find it in something that costs barely more than $10. But for those of us who are content with what it offers and is capable of doing, it's a perfectly good tool that's cheap, durable, and convenient.

Super awesome. My weird obsession with taking pictures of tiny lizards and other tiny insects has been taken to the next level. I caught a baby lizard between 3-4in from nose to tail and took a close up of its eye/head and asked friends and family to estimate how large it was in real life. Their guesses were generally over a foot. Mission accomplished.I also like using this to take close-ups of other Amazon items I purchase since it can show the detailed material better than the actual producers' photos. I can show to others what I wish I had seen before buying. My only concern is that most rubber bands don't last forever. If it breaks, whether that's in several months or several years, I'll be back to make a note, so from whatever time stamp there is on this post till the time you view it, you'll know it's still holding up well.Though out of 356 reviews, only 3 have reported the rubber band breaking, so that's a very good sign.I also really like how you can slip it over the phone case without much of an alteration to the photo quality. I was expecting to have to take the phone out of the case, but I didn't have to, so that's nice. It's less of a hassle that way.-------Photo Notes:The black thing with white lines is my cutting mat, and each line is 0.1" apart. As you can see, 1" wide will not fit, but from .6-.8 the quality is pretty good. Taking a good and non-blurry picture actually has a lot to do with skill and not with the lens itself. If you don't hold the camera still enough or if you're just slightly too close/too far away, (and you have a very small window for finding that perfect picture) it'll be blurry. It also has a lot to do with your phone camera. I have a samsung galaxy s4, so the camera is pretty decent, though even on its own the pictures can come out blurry if you don't focus it properly or if there isn't enough light. Practice helps a lot, honestly. Please don't blame the well-made lens if you can't take great pictures the second you pick it up. It gets easier over time to find that sweet spot.In order to get an idea of what they are and an idea of size, here's a list of subjects I took photos of:The lizard is roughly 3-4in long in real life.In one picture, my Möbii Spin Ring is visible. It's made of aluminum. I added the picture so you can get an idea of how reflective materials like metals appear through the lens. I wear a size 7 ring, so you can tell it's really close up to not even show the full finger. If you pull it away any further, it comes out of focus. The watch is a cheap timex I've had for several years to show how wear and tear can be shown close upThe joystick and buttons are from a moga game controller to show the details of plastic and rubber parts. As you can see, flat materials tend to be a bit easier to show since curved edges like the handle get really blurry the further down the object it is.and the last purple thing is the material of a blanket---------------------------All photos included are included for the specific purpose of showing the level of detail that the lens is capable of with different materials/objects. These aren't meant to be endorsements. I'm adding the pictures and their names in case you want to see what the items actually look like without the lens on. I thought it would be helpful, and that's the only reason I added them.---------------------------

This is my second purchase of Easy-Macro lenses. They're very handy. Easy to keep it tucked in a purse or just slip the rubber band down when I want to use the camera without the lens. Have to be very close to the subject, so I don't use this for living things. But that's the only constraint I have found. The magnification is as expected and the results are very nice, artistic, enlarged. A great low-cost option for a budding naturalist, an artist, or anyone else interested to take a closer look at things now and then!

the whole damn point of this things is SUPPOSED to be that you can slip it over you wrist and you have it for on the go! NO NO NO. not only am i disappointed in the quality but the function.QUALITY: S***. cheap cheap blue rubber band. similar to the blue rubber bands you find holding vegetables together, like broccoli in the grocery store which are FREE because they are CHEAPPP. NOT a band of rubber, like rubber bracelet you buy for ONE DOLLAR.FUNCTION: USELESS FOR ON THE GO! why? it is most simply a rubber band and unless you have a VERY small wrist (like the size of my 7 year old brother) then it will SQUEEZE your wrist, LIKE A RUBBER BAND! because again it's NOT a bracelet!PERFORMANCE: decent, slightly less distorted than expected BUT still distorted towards the outward edges!PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! you don't even get a $2 product, it LOOKS really cool, but that is where it starts and ends. LAMEEEEE just buy an Ollocilp (a worthwhile investment, as i have bought this and a cheaper lens that don't compare)...better a cheaper alternative in the long run.

The good:This lens takes great macros. There is a blur around the outside of the frame, but that's the nature of macros like this.Photos are very clear and high quality.Easily fits around both my Android phone (Motorola Droid Maxx) and my iPad 2.The lens is ultra small and portable. The bad:the lens is inexpensive plastic and will scratch easily, mine came with a scratch on the outside of the lens, but this doesn't appear to affect photo quality. The rubber band really is just a rubber band. In my mind I imagined silicone, or something a bit sturdier, but it fits nicely around the phone.
