I was looking for something like Leca but much smaller for my really small orchids to be able to easily get their tiny roots around. I'm very happy with the size but.... these are not nearly as porous as I hoped (see pic with comparison to leca). I'm not wholly convinced that they are holding/transferring water at all however the small size settles nicely into the way too large gaps that the the bark & other mediums leave behind. The small orchids are much more snug in their pots because of this and still have the breathing space their roots require. I've had them in it for a while, not a lot of super happy growth but not actively trying to die either. I will try to reassess in the spring & update the review if needed.

Very white, smooth and nice looking. I’m unsure of how much I like them though. They are very nice rocks that I think will be easy to clean when needed and for some reason that appeals to me. I like that my new plants have these bright white rocks now but I’m thinking they might be too big. But at the same time I really like the bright white look. It gives the area a nice clean and simple look. Btw my plants are a work in progress. I’m only just beginning to buy plants. I originally wanted the rocks for a touch of brightness but found out it helps keep the water from evaporating too quickly. So that’s cool.Anyways, I have no complaints about them and you get a lot for your money. I have small pots but I still have half a bag left over. I’ll probably share with my neighbor.

Had a problem with gnats breeding in our plants. This rock is nice looking and packs nicely so no flies can get through it. Completely solved the gnat problem in our plants.

I soaked them and rinsed and drained several times before using. Looks pretty inside my baby- succulents and trees for toppers. Glad I chose these!Also, I am that person to weigh, measure and thoroughly observe all of my products purchases and, they were perfectly fine! To the seller: Keep up the great work.
