I first used this product when I decided to start growing my own marijuana. I didn't have to add Anything Else but water and every plant grew great in my opinion. I'm now using it to grow vegetables inside and can't believe what a difference in size it makes. Also it holds water very well.

This product is a little pricy in my opinion. The results speak for themselves. I don't need to give any nutrients initially for my plants. Worth giving this a try!

2.5 months later and I have dying leaves on almost every single plant[20]+. Reversed osmosis room temp Agua so the plants can have the best opportunity for nutrient uptake,6-6.5ph. Decent lighting and perfect environment. I should know by now not to use until 1st week of veg, it is potent. Will catch up later. Thanks. SLAVA UKRAINE 🇺🇦

This soil is the best! I’ve always heard good things about this soil. I’ve always seen it at the top 3 of lists of best soils all over the internet. The price of course is what was making me hesitant to purchase. I decided to just buy it so that i could say I tried it and it wasn’t for me.I will never not use this soil!My plants went from dull slow growing to this beautiful shade of green and all have grown about 1 or 2 leaves already, in December!I’ve heard that this is “hot” soil which means it will burn young plants and seeds.I haven’t used it to germinate seeds but the young plants have really liked it no burning of the roots.I will recommend one thing tho, which is perlite. Lots and lots of perlite, if you think you mixed in enough add a bit more. LolThe price is totally worth it

Always wanted to try this soil. 5 stars for early delivery and 5 stars for covering it and arriving with no tears. I'm sure it'll be good stuff. Thank you.EDIT: Transplanted one houseplant and has grown well since I transplanted it a while back. I also grew one Blueberry x Mazar auto from seed with zero added nutrients and just plain tap water. It's doing pretty good.I still got enough soil for another 2.5gal grow. It holds water well so be careful with overwatering.

As somewhat of a beginner to indoor gardening I’ve killed a LOT of plants due to the following (1) planter too big (2) overwatering (3) too much/too little sunlight and (4) using cheap soil from a very popular brand.I’ve gone through bags of this “MG” soil as I’ve tried to replace my dead plants. Even the “moisture control” variety does not work. These mistakes resulted in root rot and a fungus gnat infestation. Neem oil, cinnamon and spraying the soil with a dish soap/water mixture did not work. The sticky yellow paper merely showed me how bad the problem was...they were covered in gnats. To solve the problem I had to isolate my plants in the bathroom with sticky paper hanging to catch the gnats. Then I discarded the old soil, set aside the plants/roots after shaking off soil, sanitized the pots in 10% bleach water for 10 min (I used the tub), soaked in just water for 10 min, then repotted plants in this FoxFarm Ocean Forest soil.(Prior to that I had switched to smaller terra cotta planters with drainage holes.)Here’s what I learned... high quality soil with good drainage is key! I now mostly water from the bottom. This is a HUGE bag of soil. It’s worth the price because your plants will THRIVE! Plants that had gone completely dormant are now sprouting. No sign of gnats anywhere. Thank you FoxFarm!

As you can tell from my photos, my girls love Fox Farm Soil! It’s a little pricey but you definitely see the quality of flower you get by using this soil! I’ve used a lot of other brands and nothing comes close to Farm Brand of soil, we may have other similar products out there that are pretty close to the same ingredients but for me personally I just like fox farms the consistency is always there in the soil I’ve never got one bad batch of soil or have it come really dry like other brands have fun it’s always nice and moist and fresh! You could literally get by on growing with just the soil alone that’s how good it is, and not have to add extra nutrients to your soil! My only issue with Fox Farm soil is that I wish it was sold at more stores but probably due to the high cost that’s probably why you don’t see it in a lot of stores usually in hydroponic store I’ve been lucky enough to find it at, other than that I have to order it online! Overall this is really good quality soil and if you’re considering buying it don’t consider it just do it you won’t regret it and you can thank me later!!If you have any questions about Foxfarm soil feel free to ask,me also if you felt my review to be helpful please check this was helpful thanks...!

Excellent soil and lots of it. Arrived on time. Very happy with this seller.Update:Two very large plants in 5 gal pots each. No nutes at all. One 5 gal pot filled all the way with this soil and one filled only halfway. In week 2 of flower, the plant in the full 5 gal pot is beautiful, green and flowering in half of a 4 by 4 tent. The second plant in the half-full 5 gal pot is the same size but has been yellowing - looks like a nitrogen deficiency. My batch of soil was not nitrogen heavy as another user described. The soil is excellent though. I should have used 5 gals for each 5 gal bag.The soil seems to auto-PH itself. I have not been PHing my water at any point and I have very hard water.
