Been adding this to substrates for springtails, isopods, and a crested gecko. Very happy with the size of the charcoal: not too chunky, but not pulverized into powder.

This is a great soil amendment for house plants. You get a nice amount with a good texture that is not just powder/dust and it comes inside a resealable bag. Easy to use.

I bought this to use as part of a substrate mixture for my terrarium.This terrarium is set up for my Cope's Gray Tree Frogs.I am adding isopods and springtails to the substrate.This addition makes the perfect mix!Nice decent size chunks!Great price!

I live in a small town so I like to give business to the local stores. However they don't always have what I want. In this case I was just plain lazy, didn't want to go out so I went to my fallback AMAZON! Perfect sized bag full of Horticultural Charcoal. various sized chunks that mix well with my other media. Price was fair too.

Prompt delivery. The content amount was appropriate for what I needed. The size of some charcoal particles was small and became a bit messy during setup of my planters.

This is a good product. The charcoal is chopped quite small, but not too finely, and works well in all sizes of planters/pots. For the price advertised, I felt this was a very good value and would certainly purchase it again. Horticultural charcoal is essential to keep your indoor plants happy; the charcoal absorbs excess moisture and helps to prevent root rot. I am very happy with this purchase, and recommend it wholeheartedly.
