These were not expensive, but the original battery set didn't last to my expectations. I just used them about 8 total times (heavy use for 2 days about twice a year). I quickly ordered these and replaced the old ones and they lasted great for a final day's use (on for about 8 hours and no significant charge loss - still showed full charge at the end). But I'd like them to last more than 2 years too.

I finally had to replace batteries on our GXT1000 walkie talkies, purchased around 2018. One of them was having lots of static. Our average use is about 8 hrs a week.

Los compre para un gxt1050, en las fotos aparece la original batt5r (izquierda) contra la de la publicación batt5rx (derecha). Las diferencias son mínimas en dimensiones es ligeramente más pequeña la batt5rx pero no afecta en el funcionamiento. Lo único en que si no cuenta la batt5rx son los bornes traseros, ya q la batt5r si los tiene, pero mi radio no necesita de esos bornes, ya q se cargan por abajo del radio y no por atrás. Hasta ahorita no los eh usado para ver el rendimiento de la batería. Lo q si me asusto es q al poner la primera batería en el radio prendió bien, pero la segunda no, pero fue cuestión de acomodarla bien ya q es ligeramente más pequeña, de hecho la original cuesta trabajo quitarla y la de esta publicación es fácil quitarla y ponerla en el radio, por lo cual solo volví a acomodarla bien y se solucionó (y no, con el movimiento y ni con golpes al radio la bateria no se desconecta). Hasta ahorita solo falta ver su rendimiento y que realmente el cargador las cargue. Si surge algún defecto les notificó.

Hay que hacer adaptación con mucha imaginación. Sin embargo es lo que hay, el ingenio es lo que salva para usar este producto.
