I was able to get this battery to replaced an old battery for my uv9r plus Baofeng and no longer have the charging station.

Nice added function for an older Baofeng without the direct USB-C option. As for the negative reviews claiming this will not fit the UV-9R Plus, you just need to make sure to insert it exactly right. This battery does not snap on as easily as the OEM but it does in fact snap in place with no modification.This is it connected without modification

It’s a battery, same Mah as original, but USB-C and dock rechargeable.It does as described. States it’s waterproof. Haven’t quite tested that yet.What? You want a poem? It’s a battery that charges with USB?! Bought as a replacement battery and for USB-C charging. Fit radio perfect and now can charge on the go with readily available phone charging cables.
