Thie ice maker was easy to install and works great, nice size ice cubes. Some people say it does not work with this model of refrigerator but it did for us.

We picked up a couple of basic Midea refrigerators from our local wholesale warehouse. They came ice-maker ready. I've had experience installing an ice-maker in my last fridge so I knew it wasn't that difficult. This kit was easy to install but I felt the instructions could've been a little clearer. Included are two water feeder tubes, but the instructions don't mention that you use either one based on the model of your fridge. Also I felt the order of the installation procedure was a bit mixed up, eg. installed the feeder tube before connecting the poly tubing, it was much easier to install the poly tubing on the feeder tube before attaching it to the fridge.Otherwise overall installation was easy and it produces the perfect amount of ice for daily use. I purchased a second one to install on the refrigerator in the basement.

As other reviews stated, this takes some thinking getting installed but once it’s installed it works so well. However, after a year of use (we are a 2 adult household who use regular to low volumes of daily ice) the machine stopped working. When I looked up product support finding this exact model was near impossible but I did clean out the line and disconnect the unit to clean it, in addition to making sure the freezer was cold enough. Still no ice. Fun while it lasted but not a product for the long haul.

The product was as advertised, and easy to install. Plugged into my Midea refrigerator and is producing ice cubes.

This Ice Maker was a straightforward install. The only thing that was on my refrigerator was the electrical connection. This looks more difficult than it is, and one of the few projects where the instructions are better than a YouTube video. I do recommend watching a few videos first, and then using the instructions for the details.For the install a mirror and a work light makes this much easier. The electrical connection is directional and it's hard to know if you have it in correctly without the mirror. I wasn't sure there was a cap in there until I used the mirror and light.The instructions said to wait between 24 and 48 hours for ice. I had ice when I checked after 6 hours. After 24 hours, the ice bucket was 2/3rds full. I have my freezer on the coldest setting.This takes up as much space as an ice bucket and 4 trays. That's about how much I would need to keep up with the needs of my family. It's worth the cost, space, and convenience.
