It's not a replacement for 2315576, the output hose diameter is 5/16" not 1/4", and the flow orifice is too big and let's way too much water flow resulting in a big frozen mess.

Easy to install and perfect match to the OEM unit. It took longer to move the refrigerator out from the wall than to install the switch. Just remember to turn off the water and unplug fridge before you install.

This is pretty much the same as OEM, everything fits right. The first time I installed it, water started leaking at the connection to the fridge. I thought it was a faulty part. But after some more research on how to properly connect a water hose to a quick connect, I was able to properly install it the second time.1. make sure you cut the end of the hose so it has a nice flat surface, not angled or worn out.2. make sure you are able to push the hose about 3/4" into the quick connect, in order to push it past the o-ring. Make a mark about 3/4" on the hose to help you see.3. make sure there are some room for the hose to run straight out from the connection. An immediate bend near the connection can eventually lead to leaking.4. make sure you don't over tighten the fastener on the inlet hose.
