The cord to the speaker was split so it doesn't work. Was a Christmas gift and I was embarrassed when they opened it to find they couldn't use it

It is barely louder than when I play music on my phone....super, super, disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this for any purpose. Irritated with myself for wasting my money

First of all let me clarify, I did not get this speaker for music. I got it for my tv audio in my bedroom. I had a different Memorex Speaker for years (like a white, like boombox looking with a iPod dock I never really used. But it had good sound for the tv) it started to give me trouble now, but I figured I'll look for the same brand, given that I got so many years out of the old one. So when I saw this one, I thought it would be to small in size, but the reviewers were saying the sound is really good, so I tried it. When I got it, first I was happy to see that it's actually bigger in size than the picture makes it look (but not that big) it it has like 4 small speakers inside (you can see that in the photo here, if you zoom in) and the sound is really really good. The only issue I ran into, given that I use it for tv audio, is that it doesn't have an auxiliary input, it only had a male 3.5mm connection, that you put into your phones headphone jack. But no biggie, cause I had a female converter piece at home (you can get that for a couple of bucks here on Amazon) so that made the male into a female, so all I had to do now, is connect my 2 rca to 3.5mm Cable, into the female (converted) slot. And we got tv Audio.So keep in mind, if you need this for an auxiliary input, it doesn't have one, it only has the male output, so just get that like female converter and your good to go

Sound was ok when it was working, but it would auto shut off at random times and wouldn't play longer than a few minutes. This was a refurbished item, so maybe it wasn't fixed properly.

Best of both worlds! Love that you can charge your phone while listening to your favorite music and use any phone,mp3 that has a usb port! Small enough to take along with you on trip or just sit in the kitchen, where ever you like to listen to music. Has really good sound for it's size, someone said it had no bass? Not true, it's not a heavy bass but it's there. I found that when using an equalizer app I had on my phone, it sounded even better. I did notice some crackling/static noise after the second use? I changed out my usb cable to a heavier, better quality one, problem solved! You really can't beat this little speaker, or the price! I told my friend about it and she bought one, loves it! Sit's on her desk at work.

This speaker is the best I've used/heard when it comes to small, portable devices. I wanted a speaker that could be heard on the other side of my living room, because my husband and I like to play video games with some jumpin' tunes going, but our computers are about 15-20 feet away from each other. I bought two of the little bluetooth "ultraportable" speakers before this, and they both sucked - unless there was absolutely 0 ambient noise, you couldn't really hear them further than 6 feet away. This one sounds really good and is loud enough to be heard without even turning it all the way up. I also like the fact that you can use it as a charging station. Definitely recommend.

Did not realize this was a refurbished product. The input wire was defective but they offered easy return. I kept it because of the price.
