I understand the intended purpose of this speaker....under a pillow....and that it will have a low volume.However I found that the output was so low that even when placed on the bed next to my head, with no pillow on the speaker, it was too quiet to hear. Adjusting the volume on the input device did nothing. Tried it on several different devices with same poor quality. It quickly went into the trash.

Why is this product in the market? Waste of money. Sound is so low even the ac turning on blocks out the sound. Don't recommend.

I’m a constant listener of NPR, BBC during the night and panic if my pillow speaker stopes working, this works but could be far better. The cord is not well secured to the speaker also the wire becomes stiff after several months of use.

Originally had given it 1 star but after fully trying it out, it is not so bad especially considering the price. It is certainly more comfortable and convenient than earphones for laying down. Not really that loud but adequate for its intended use. Although it promises stereo, I am not hearing it and so the sound quality is fair at best.
