Refuses to charge and as such refuses to work / play. Complete waste of money. Cannot recommend.

You will not get dynamite sound from a 1" speaker. It does OK for what it is and the volume is decent. BTW, volume is controlled by the device it is plugged in to. In my case it was a portable ham radio transceiver. However, the sound quality is questionable. I did want it any longer, but it was past the return period, so I sold it to a friend.

At first I thought I had made a big mistake with the purchase because I doubted that a good sound could come from such a small, simple device but it works better than the speaker I originally used with my iPod. The sound it crisp and clear and the device it very easy to use with my iPod. There isn't a way to adjust the volume on the speaker itself but since it and the iPod shuffle are both small and are so portable, it's extremely easy to adjust the volume on the iPod. I didn't quite realize that the speaker had to be charged up. I thought it just plugged in and worked but that is on me. I should have read the description better. It doesn't stay charged up as much as I'd like but otherwise, it works great for my needs.

Best present I have ever bought. It gets plugged into an MP4 player every day and the battery lasts for 8 hours so dad knows when to stop working and go inside lolSound is great, it removes the tininess and has good bass.

This product does not work, the charge wares off in less then 2 mins, it is a complete useless product and waste of money

My cell phone's speaker is like most, not exactly the best in terms of volume and quality of sound. And considering the technical challenges of putting a speaker into a piece of electronics not more than 1/4" thick that sounds half-way decent is remarkable that they work at all. However, depending on your particular brand and model of phone the speaker's volume and quality of sound will vary.If you're in a situation where there's significant ambient noise your cell phone's speaker, as good as it may be, may not be adequate. Or perhaps you're a bit challenged with your hearing and need something to boost the sound.I needed a boost to my cell phone's sound when using WAZE (a free navigation app for Android and Apple phones). Ordinarily my cell phones volume is loud enough, especially with the speaker-phone on. But in one of my cars which is not especially sound proof, with traffic noise it was sometimes hard to fully hear what WAZE was saying and I wanted something that was wire-free to boost the sound.There are a number of options for this kind of issue. For example, you could use a Bluetooth speaker. However, you'd need to find one small enough to fit somewhere in the car and attach it firmly just in case of an accident because you don't want lose items to become dangerous projectiles. In addition, you'd have to power the speaker either with its own battery or using the cars power via the cigarettes' lighter perhaps - again, more wires. I bought this little speaker to use with my Nintendo Switch when playing it docked to a spare PC monitor that has no speakers. The Switch has a (IMHO) flaw the cuts out the internal speakers when the video is outputting to HDMI, Nintendo should have allowed this to be an option in the system settings. I don't want to use earbuds, so this seemed a good solution.I am very pleased with this little speaker. The battery life is great, the sound is also very good, considering the price and the fact that it is a single driver.It's nice that it saves battery by turning off when there's no sound output for a few minutes, but I like that this feature can also be disabled by pressing and holding the power button until the light blinks when powering the speaker on. If you do this, the speaker will not automatically power off and will just stay on until the button is pressed again or the battery runs down.Although I bought it for my Switch, I have also tested it out on a tablet and my phone. At lower volumes, the sound quality is similar to the built in speakers, but if I need more volume to enjoy music across the room, for instance, this little speaker provides it with gusto.I don't know about durability as I've only been using it for a month or so, but it seems well built and I have had no problems at all.The only drawback in my opinions is the lack of a grille to protect the speaker. Obviously it would change the styling and may not look as cool, but the included pouch, while nice, is soft and I worry about the speaker being damaged if someone carelessly shoves something around in a drawer with the speaker, even in the pouch. A simple steel mesh grille would have been a great addition.Standard size stick of chewing gum in the photo is for scale.

This speaker is absolutely amazing.It's small, so it's extremely portable and light-weight to carry it around.To work it, you plug it in to your headphone jack on your phone/tablet and press the button on the bottom to turn it on.To charge it, you need a at-home port (the little box thing) to charge it with the cord that it comes with.It comes in a plastic box, and there's a paper box inside of it that holds the charger.The audio is very, very loud at high volume for it's size. When it's at a lower volume, it can sound a bit scratchy or rattly, but when it's at a decently high volume you can barely notice it.The charging could honestly last a week. It takes not too long to charge depending on how much battery you've used, obviously.I've dropped it a couple times, and it's still in perfect condition and it didn't mess up anything about the audio. Durability is amazing.I'd REALLY recommend this item.
