The threads are loose and on some rods literally can be pushed in. Had to purchase others at local hardware store.

These rods turned out to be a very good match to use as an extension on this globe lamp. It is not the exact same colour as the brass fitting on top of the globe but because it’s in an area of very changing natural light, you don’t notice it at all and for the price it was a great fix.
