Aluminum Carpet Trim easily covers a seam or gap between two flooring surfaces of unequal height. Carpet Trim prevents carpet edges from fraying, vinyl floor seams from curling and creates a smooth transition between different flooring surfaces. Secure to wood floors with provided Screw Nails. For concrete floors, install with Screw Nails & Wood Pegs (Wood Pegs sold separately).

The 2-Inch x 36-Inch Satin Brass Fluted Carpet Trim easily covers a seam or gap between two flooring surfaces of unequal height. Carpet Trim prevents carpet edges from fraying, vinyl floor seams from curling and creates a smooth transition between different flooring surfaces. Aluminum trim is easily secured to wood and concrete floors with provided Screw Nails. For installation on concrete floors use Wooden Pegs (sold separately).

I used all three of the transits at doorways. Two of them were from linoleum to carpet, the third was in a doorway that connected two separate pieces of linoleum. I could not be happier with the way my doorways look.

I bought this because it was the width I needed to span a gap between my carpet and flooring. It did the job but the metal is not as thick as I'd like. It bends and "gives" every time I step on it, making it feel flimsy. It looks good, though.

Booth this for transition between rooms. Great color true to picture. Easy to install. The levels in my room were different and this covered that up and looks good at the same time. Width is true to description and very easy to cut with power saw to length.

Ok this is a decent enough trim piece but I bought it for a very wide gap and was expecting a 2 inch wide piece as advertised. It is not a full 2 inches and comes up short 1/16th inch. While 1/16th of an inch may not seem like much, when you need precision cut items you expect them to be length you ordered.
