The M-D Aluminum and Vinyl Heavy-duty Screw-on Door Sweep features a double-fin vinyl seal for protection from drafts, moisture, dust and insects. Save on energy by sealing the bottom of the door and keeping the heat or air conditioning from escaping. All of the hardware needed to install is included. Before installation, cut to desired length by using a hacksaw.

Energy loss through the bottom of doors is the most commonly addressed area to improve your home or building’s seal. Sweeps are installed on the face of the door so that a seal is formed when the door is closed. Made it shorter with handsaw, screws were in the package, installed no issues. The rubber part is really stiff, so if you want no noise when door opens you need to glue additional fabric to it, otherwise it's very noisy

I needed a door sweep that would fit a 37.5" wide door. Most sweeps at the big box stoors are limited to 36 inches.This sweep was perfect, good fresh rubber, accurate color, and the length was true as advertised. The sweep seals out drafts and moisture very well. I mounted it on the door's exterior hence the appreciation for fresh rubber in the sweep. When closing the door the sweep has to flex up over the threshold and still flex into (weather seal) position once the door is closed. It does this as needed. Install is not that difficult but does take time (especially if door is mounted in the frame and installed). Youtube is our friend...

Have not installed it yet, but it looks about the right size for my door, as I have a large gap under the door.

I had to cut an inch off this door sweep for it to fit the bottom of the inside my door. It is as describe heavy duty and the vinyl is thick and sturdy, used a hacksaw to cut through the aluminum strip found that hard to do on my own. but the vinyl strip can be cut with sharp scissors. I bought this to keep the cigarette smoke from the hallway from getting in under my door.
