I am using this heat cable to keep the condensate lines and condensate pump from freezing in an unheated attic. I use a Thermo Cube outlet to turn it on at 35 deg F attic temperature and have temperature sensor on the condensate lines that shows the the heat cable turning on and maintaining the condensate pump and lines at about 75 deg F
