These are the worst alcohol inks I've ever tried. First, the caps on them must have been designed by an angry, bitter soul. The are shaped like little dunce caps and although they snap onto the bottle they don't actually seal, not the dripper hole or at the base where they snap on, and will drip ink any time you go to open it. You don't even have to tip the bottle for the cap to fill with ink, just the slightest pressure from picking up the bottle is enough to push ink from the dripper into the cap prepping it to spill all over your hands when you pop off the cap. And you really don't want that to happen, because if it does y'ht neps lluoe rest of the day smelling like you spilled bile and poppers on yourself. I've used strong smelling inks before, usually it's just isopropyl alcohol you can smell, but these are made with something awful, like something evil and dead is in there topped off with butyl nitrate and maybe a few drops of yak sweat. It's nauseating and strong, and it lingers for hours. When they recommend wearing a gas mask they mean it, and I recomend an entire hazmat suit and a talisman just to be on the safe side. The properties of the dyes themselves for artwork is irrelevant, I won't be using them. Before this stuff drifts downwind and starts drawing in Yaks or Wildebeests I am sealing them up in several airtight layers of long-term-storage bags then taking them to the toxic chemical waste drop off run by the city and when I get home I might call a Shamen over to clean out any lingering spirits and

I am making 40 of these wings on plastic/thin plexiglass. I’ve never used alcohol inks before so I have nothing to compare them to. With some blow of air, layering, and isopropyl this is the result I got. I let it dry over night for at least a day before messing with it again but it was pretty dry to the touch within the hour. I considered using a blending solution but these were created without one. Thanks!

These are really nice! They work really well on tumblers and for mixing into resin! The colors are beautiful! Really nice quality! Would definitely recommend!
