I'm using the ink for addressing envelopes and also for detail work on watercolor paintings. The ink is richly smooth and flows easily onto paper. It's a perfect dark inky black, exactly what I needed and a great price. This bottle is going to last me a long time.

Noodler’s Waterproof black is my new favorite ink. I have tried many black inks. This one is very dark, consistent, and waterproof. It writes well on medium to high quality paper and doesn’t do too badly on cheap paper either. I write with a dip pen, and I value the smoothness and viscosity. I like good line width variation and this ink works perfectly for that.I also picked up Apache Sunset for the first time. It’s fun and beautiful, but don’t get it wet! Both are a delight.

I love this ink been working with it for YEARs, over 7 to be exact. That being said ive Noticed that the invisible ink stops, becoming so invisible and losing its glow after 7 years or so. It’s not THAT big of a deal to me but i sell a lot of my work so i need to find a way to fix it now. Had someone ask for a Refurbish job, luckily its not a hard fix, got a new bottle in hopes that maybe the formula has changed a little or if not i got another 7 years to worry about it later~ overall love this ink its great for any art project you may have plans for. Uber Vibrant, under the black light, but you wouldn’t even know it was there without that light, which makes a super cool trippy effect when you master it! Love the brand too. Overall your not gonna have a bad time and really if your serous about art 7 years later a remake of art will be a fun challenge and a great way to see how much you’ve grown!

I’m using this with a glass dip pen, and it works very well. It flowed quite nicely from the nib, and it’s a pretty large bottle for the price. It’s definitely going to last me a while. It shows up very well under a black light and dries pretty fast. The bottle was super full (just below the rim of the neck), which was a nice surprise, but be careful when you open it so you don’t spill it. I can’t speak to how long it lasts as it just arrived today, but I’m quite happy with it!

This is a review of Noodler's Ink "Southwest Sunset" which used to be called "Apache Sunset," a way cooler name that died in the PC wars.I got this ink because it has a reputation as being one of the better examples of a shading ink. And it definitely lives up to that reputation. Every letter (character) you write will have a mix of color from yellow to orange. Funny thing is, I'm not really a fan of shading - I'd prefer my normal writing be consistent. However, it is fun to have one ink that is "crazy" for whatever reason. This ink is "dry", meaning that it doesn't flood out of your pen and it writes a little bit "scratchier" than a wetter ink. This goes with the territory; if you want shading you are going to have some dryness. The interesting thing is that while it is called "dry", it is one of the thinnest or watery inks, in terms of viscosity, of any that I own. I think maybe it has less lubricant, which would add thickness, but that is my limited-education guess. One characteristic of this ink I think I should mention is that it is not a good choice for low-lighting writing. When you begin the stroke of a new character, the ink is a VERY pale yellow and in low light this can mislead you into thinking the ink is failing to flow. By the end of the character where the ink pools and back-fills your writing, it is a much darker orange color and the coverage is obvious. If you plan on writing in a nice cozy candle-lit cottage someplace this may not be the right ink for that scenario, your mileage may vary.I give this ink 5 stars due to its unique nature and value for quantity. I will not be using it as an everyday writer, but rather for a fun alternative that will have people saying "why does your writing look multicolored like that?!"

Easily became my most reached for inks lately. The Lexington grey is permanent and smells like marker inks for some reason but that ain’t stopping me from using it. Can be easily mistaken for pencil marks but look closer and be surprised. It’s a transparent, wet, beautiful cool grey ink with cerulean blue undertones and good shading capabilities allowing it to be used expressively and can gradually build to near black values using artist grade techniques. Does not stain plastics making it easy to wash in the fountain pens making me use it in all my fountain pens from different brands without any fuss even with the ones that are prone to clogging. Since it’s permanent it can be used with watercolour washes or any water based media. The flow functionality is consistently good and gives a lot of Cleopatra or Egyptian vibes. 90 mL for Around 2k is well worth the money considering it’s archival nature which was filled to the brim which will certainly go a long way

I can't say enough good things about this ink! After searching for a deep, rich, dark, black ink that is also waterproof, I finally stumbled upon Noodler's Black Bulletproof ink, my search is over. This ink is truly a pleasure to use and works beautifully with both dip and fountain pens. I will definitely be purchasing more inks from Noodler!

I'm a sucker for blue green inks and this one hits it out of the park. The colour is like a deeply saturated teal, and writing with an extra fine nib expresses a bit of shading properties the ink seems to have. I don't know what it is like to clean out of a pen though I have heard it can be a nuisance given it is semi-permanent. Running water over the ink leaves a ghostly grey-blue, semi-legible line. Overall the ink has great properties, including, aside from the semi-permanence/water resistance, great flow and little feathering in lower to mid quality paper. Highly recommended.

Soddisfatto in tutto.
