Like others have said, the latch is great quality but the flag seems a bit flimsy. Luckily, I only needed to latch, as my mailbox won't stay shut currently. If you need the flag part, you may want to look elsewhere, but the latch is perfect and relatively easy to install.

Fairly flimsy but gets the job done. The holes didn't line up with my box, so I had to drill new which was not a huge deal, but it would be nice if the set came with a drill bit of the exact size you'd need. This is an inexpensive little addition that would complete the set. The screws and nuts are tiny so it was a bit of a challenge to install with my fat fingers.

When this finally arrived, I went right out to install it. Nothing lined up correctly and I spent lots of time trying to figure out a way to rig enough to work. Once I finally got it on...the latch would not stay closed. In the end...I had to buy a new mailbox anyways. I only chose 1 star because I had too!!

Product is extremely poor quality. Does not work properly. You will need larger washers. Even then, unless you drill out new holes, it's not going to work. Avoid purchasing.

Flag with sticky tape is a joke. Metal latch pieces are fine.

The "latch" parts are tiny. The flag is kind of a joke. In fact this entire"kit" leaves a lot to be desired. I really only needed the flag but it has only one small square inch of double sided tape and the up / down action is flimsy. My mail person would rip this flag off the first time I used it.

I ended up using the handle kit that came with this since it was nice, sturdy metal, but the flag is super small and flimsy, so I ended up not using that part. I can tell that after just a but of use, it will break. If you're looking for a flag for an indoor mailbox or to use for an art project, this would be good, but not if you want to use it on an outdoor mailbox.
