This door replacement snapped right in and literally took seconds to replace, and it was done in the early morning in the dark. Shipping was fast. The door and frame are nicely painted. There was a small scratch in mine but I think I did that after I took it out of the box and dropped it on the table. I touched it up with a little dark paint and it looks fine. The non painted hardware is nicely shined. I don't know if it's stainless steel or not so I coated it with a little gun grease.This door fits perfectly and looks great. Time will tell how long it lasts. But it was much easier than replacing the entire mail box.

Whoever came up with this idea is a genius.Just be sure you measure your mailbox so you get the correct door opening. I didn't realize mine was the larger of the two selections. I saved over $300 by not having to have someone come install a whole new mailbox when the hinges rusted & pulled out from years of use. The door is magnetized & closes more tightly than the original. Thank you!

Magnet had come unglued in shipment but a drop of superglue fixed it. Didn't really need magnet anyway with my setup--tension strip from old door held it fine. So easy to slip in the old box (measure your box's opening). Tight fit with no hardware necessary. Took 30 seconds. If it lasts, it was well worth it.

I bought it to replace a busted door. It snapped right into place. Unfortunately after about 18 months the hinge failed and the door snapped off. Idk if it was byild quality or if someone was just too rough with it. I just bought a second one from the same seller on ebay since it was a little cheaper

Suprer easy installation for my 8" x 10" mailbox door. After being in place for 19 years, the weather, rust, and wear and tear by the postal delivery workers broke the right hinge rivet on my embedded mailbox (encased inside a cinder block + stucco encased streetside mount).Not cheap, but totally worth the price given HOW QUICK and EASY the installation was (only took a minute to cut off the working left hinge) to snap it in place (after a fit check) !! Very happy with the quick result. Definitely recommended.

I was surprised at how easy it was to install, basically remove to old door and pop in this replacement. Works better than the original door.
