We had a draft coming from under the fireplace. It was like standing in front of a window a/c. We're currently using a separate electric fireplace unit and this blanket did the trick. No more drafts and it looks great.

The sizing is off, 39 1/2 by 32 is what the product actually measures that the product details say. 38 by 31 is what is stated. So, we had to fold one of the sides so it would fit. It looks pretty with the candles and it blocking out most of the draft.

The installation process is simple and straightforward, and the magnets have been holding up very well. With toddlers and pets at home, this is a simple and effective way to completely cover the fireplace, especially during spring and summer when we aren't using the fireplace. Overall, I highly recommend it!

The pics are pretty accurate to the print on the cover, but the back is solid black and I would have loved to be able to mount it with the design facing in.Technically you can mount it reversed with the included mounting hardware, but ease of removal with the magnets is hard to give up.As far as function, it does a great job of blocking chimney draft and the magnetic install was super easy. All in all, a good product, could have been 5 stars if the magnets were sewn differently to allow for reversible mounting.
