Has worked for 6 months so far in hot and cold temperatures . I am not running 40A, only 7A at 24V, so the smallish terminals are not an issue for my use of running a 150W (or so) motor from a small solar system.

Works well except for voltage calibration does not work for 48v . However one can work around this by using a good mutimeter and compensating by the difference in board reading and a good meter. Does the job for disconnecting when voltage on battery gets low and auto reconnecting after sufficient charge has taken place. Great protection against discharging your lithium battery too low.

This board exceeded my expectations. It has multiple modes and voltage settings that make it very useful. I'm using it to prevent over discharge of power tool batteries with my project. My only hope is that it holds up and only time will tell.

I purchased two of these. One was for a project powered by a drill battery that lacks a BMS. To prevent over discharging the drill battery, I purchased this and set the voltage appropriately. It is compact and unlike many of the other low volt disconnects on Amazon, this can handle lower gauge wires to actually run high amperage applications. My other purchase is to project a deep cycle lead acid battery from over discharge. My trailer did not have that capability so I was being forced to monitor the battery and make sure I switch off before the power gets too low. Highly recommend for campers, ham radio operators, and tinkerers.

We use this to run our power wheels jeep with m18 Milwaukee batteries. Works excellent.

I have purchased 2 of these since May. Both failed.I am a retired, Master Electrician with multiple control certifications, from nuclear to environmental, so I kind of know what I'm doing. I have built my own solar array systems (4,500 watts panels, 14,000 wh LiFePo4 batteries, 24 volt).I was using the first of these control boards in May, to act as voltage detection to run a "dump-load" controller for an electric water heater. I didn't build the dump system or install that board until 2 weeks ago. It worked fine - 23v it shuts down the contactor, 25.5v it would activate the contactor. The contactor powers a 1,000 w heater element. System voltage is set to not ever exceed 28.8v due to the controls in my MPPT charge controllers. and battery limits.Yesterday afternoon, I was in my basement when I realized that first control board was not operating. I tested all lines and everything was fine to the board. The board was dead. Tried multiple times to reset, nothing. Yep, so it worked for 2 whole weeks, yippee!!! Since it is past the 30 days, I lose on that one.Oh, but wait! There is more! Last week I ordered another one of these, since the first one was working well. I was going to build a new automatic transfer switch, using one of these as the voltage control, for a second solar setup. Today, even though the first one had died, I decided to go ahead with the build. The second one did fire up fine, but it would not allow me to calibrate it. It was over 1.2v off on the voltage. Then, after about 10 minutes, nothing. At least on the second one I am able to send it back for a refund. The first one I get to eat. Stay away from this thing.JUNK JUNK JUNK!

Worked ok until I connected a small battery in reverse polarity and it smoked and died.

I needed a low voltage cutoff for a dash camera setup but all the other ones cut power instantly when voltage drops, like when starting the car. This one has an adjustable countdown timer so if power goes below the set level for 2 seconds and your timer is set for 10 seconds it stays powered on without constant video interruptions. Instructions aren't great but that is common for most little devices like this.

It work for 1 week and broke.A have a 30 amp fuse and it didn't burn so my system draw less than that and the module stop working anyway.

This multifunctional protection board has become an essential component for when we are camping and using our truck battery. We mainly use it in protecting our truck battery from discharging when running a portable fridge while we are camping. The LCD display offers real-time monitoring of voltage levels during charging and discharging. This level of precision enables me to keep a close eye on the health of my devices and prevent potential damage from voltage fluctuations. This will detect voltage drops below a predefined threshold and promptly disconnects the power supply, ensuring that my devices are shielded from operating under unsafe conditions. Whether it's during the charging or discharging phase, this protection board ensures that my devices operate within safe voltage parameters. This protection board is compatible with a wide range of devices, from battery-powered gadgets to charging systems. Its versatility makes it suitable for various applications, from DIY electronics projects to household electronics protection. Knowing that my devices are equipped with a robust protective barrier against voltage-related issues, even in my absence, offers me a sense of peace and confidence. Highly recommended.

Bought a peg perego connector on Amazon for $10 and the Bosch batter adapter for about $10 on ebay. Screw everything together onto this board and we’re all good to go without modifying the gator at all.I knocked it two stars because when I had the battery plugged in for over a week even without the power wheel running, it seems to draw just a slight amount of power and it drained my battery past the point of being able to charge again. I sparked it from another battery for a few seconds to get enough juice to bring it back, but that really stinks. So long as you disconnect the battery every time you’re done, no problem but we know how life goes and we forget and you might have a brick of a battery.
