Like the color of the unit. It looks to have all the bells and whistles on it. Will work good for my small stand-alone system. Looks well-made and don't see any issues with it.

Does the job. Interface is not great, but it works. Instructional papers are not great. Gets really warm when charging. Wish it had a heat sink or something. Have been thinking about adding one to the back to see if that helps with efficiency.

this unit only works with solar panels in the same voltage rage. ( 12v solar with 12v battery ) I wanted to put my panels in series and use about 27v coming in and charging 12v batteries. This unit will not allow that. All my other mppt controllers can convert higher voltages down. That said its cheap and much better than pwm.

Used for charging lifepo4 batteries. One unit wouldn't program and most read the battery voltage wrong by as much as 0.5 volt. This could cause a over charge of lifepo4 and an explosion and fire.two units failed within two months. They were hot to the touch. Engineering a product that fails consuming power is never done. THis product should be withdrawn!

This is no high end MTTP. It comes with no bells and whistles. However, I like it because it is so simple. I hooked it up to a battery and it does the job. This is perfect for a small application like supplying lights to a small shed that is leak proof. My use has been to test batteries with it. I put in two leads, hook up to + and - and I get a nice reading. My plan is to mount it on a piece of plywood, hook leads up to a battery, then hook up lights. This gives a nice voltage reading. For the money this is more than worth it. Sure beats a permanent connection of my volt meter. Hooking up a solar panel or two is very very simple because it has a single standard 5.?? lead input. I ordered a lead with + and - connections to my solar panel.I have no idea how top-of-the-line the parts are, but for the price I don't need to know.
