magnets small and 2 magnets on a bungey cord did not hold my bathing suit. good to hold one baseball cap, one washcloth. 2 magnets did hold a small 6 pocket mesh organizer filled with 6 womens underwear and one bra. overall they were useful and good value.

These magnetic hooks are perfect for an office and very versatile. We used them on the metal in between the lights to hang holiday decorations. Super easy to install and hold everything we hung up. The size is perfect and actually unnoticable when we take the decorations down. Removes easy but you can leave them up for future use. I also used one to hang my handbag on the side of a metal cabinet, very sturdy. Good value for a pack of 30.

These hooks are great! They are very strong and better than the ones I have bought in stores. I’ll be buying another set. I also appreciate the price of them. Highly recommend these hooks for value and strength.

These are a decent buy if you need to use a magnet type hook. They are pretty strong and hard to take off. The magnets work as needed! My only knock down from 5 star to 4 is the hooks are smaller than you think, and they are quite small. They screw into the magnet base and will only hold very small items. Dont think you can hang larger items such as hand brooms or tools, as the hook is just too small to fit larger items into. Works well but if you need larger hooks, it might be best to look for something with a larger overall size.

I brought these on a cruise to hang an extra mesh organizer for toiletries, and to hang jackets I wouldn't need until after the cruise and were a bit bulky in the small cabinets on board. These hooks are seriously heavy duty and insanely useful. They were very easy to use. When traveling, I left them in the plastic case they came in, where they're attached to a magnetic strip with the hooks separate. I had no trouble going through TSA at multiple large airports.On board the ship I just quickly screwed a few of the hooks in and they attached to almost every surface I tested them on. I used hooks on the ceiling for jackets/coats, and hooks in the bathroom for my mesh organizer. Not only did nothing I hung slip or move at all during the week long cruise, it actually took a little effort to pull the hooks free at the end. The ceiling hooks were easy, but the hooks on wall surfaces were actually easier to slide along the wall until I reached a bend where they could be slid off haha. They do pull off normally too with some strength but I was very surprised how well these things hold in place. I really didn't need the 80 lbs version... 30-40 lbs would have done just as well.On Royal Caribbean ships, these attach to all of the doors, normal walls, and ceilings in staterooms and connecting bathroom. The only things they didn't attach to were furniture, and a few of the fancy lighting strips and decorative/textured wall bits on Icon of the Seas, but it's pretty obvious that they wouldn't, I just wanted to test everything.

Important Notes:If you hang something too heavy on this hook, it will slide down the wall. The hook is designed to hold a load of 40lbs, but that weight is being pulled straight down from the ceiling, not against the wall.This behavior is due to the physics of friction. When mounted on a wall, the friction isn't strong enough to keep a 40lb item in place, so it will gradually slide down. However, the magnet will remain attached to the wall—it won’t fall off.If you're hanging something heavier and the magnet can stick to the ceiling, it provides excellent holding power. I successfully hung a full leather toiletry bag and a backpack using this setup.Advice - Buy more magnets than you think you need. If your ship has magnetic walls, you will literally find new things to hang from them like USB charge cords, necklaces, your ship pass lanyard, clothing, hats, etc.There isn't a ton of space for items and it kept feeling like every flat surface was a pile of stuff. I advise you grab some 80lb magnets and some with a "Swivel" hook (search this: LOVIMAG Magnetic Hooks for Cruise Cabins, 60Lbs Swivel Magnetic Hooks Heavy Duty) because the swivel hooks were good for hanging up light privacy curtains to divide some spaces. If you used a hook that doesn't swivel for a curtain, they can pop off the ceiling or slide which was annoying.Having magnets helped me organize a lot of things. Also if you have a magnetic door, you can hang up a sign outside the door (remove the screw in hooks so they can't be easily peeled off or catch someone walking down the hall) because having a sign on the door made it easy to find our room.

These were for inside a metal trailer. They have incredibly strong holding power. My wife can't even get them off the wall herself.Definitely recommend if you need something strong.

Yes, these magnets are great for cruises if your cabin walls accept magnets. Not all cabins do, but when they do these magnets are strong enough to hold jackets, binoculars, and hats for Alaskan cruises and swimsuits, towels, and cover ups for warmer weather cruises. We also use the hooks to hold the extension cord against the wall so it isn’t unsightly or a trip hazard in the middle of the night.I also use these in the classroom to hang task cards and punch cards. At my standing desk, I hang seating charts and supportive materials to have handy when the needs arise. These can also be stuck on the ceiling to hang classroom decorations. They are extremely versatile and strong yet they can be removed fairly easily. When I don’t need hooks, I just put them on the side of my file cabinet so they are ready at a moment’s notice. The diameter of the base is about a size of a quarter and are definitely a great value for the money. I have bought 4 sets of these in different colors and have never been disappointed and they are very durable.

Product worked great for holding misc things from walls and ceilings of cruise ship.Held small backpacks with no issues from the ceiling on a 7 day cruise. Also used to hold hats on walls. Would recommend an “80 LB” or greater for these uses. Magnets hold stronger from ceiling than wall. Great value for the money, very solid product.
