These work GREAT!! We just put up a cabinet to store our motorcycle helmets and gloves, and used these heavy duty hooks for our jackets, and they don't budge!!

I used them on a cruise and put them on a ceiling to hold my extension cord over to the bed; they did hold it above with no adjustment needed the entire time. Strong and out of the way.

These powerful magnetic hooks worked great on all the cruise ships we have used then on. Thanks to these, we were able to keep our cabins neat and clean. Allowed us to prepare our travel bag for going to ports of call the night before as we were able to hang the bag on the hook and just grab it when we disembarked for the port. Trick to getting them off cabin wall it to grab the hook and pull one side off the wall.

Purchased to hold hook and loop wrap style holders with heavy 30 amp electrical cords and other items on the back door of a class B van to save on storage space. As long as the magnet is on a completely flat surface and not too near to the curved edge it seems to hold up quite a bit of weight even on an angle. We are very pleased so far.

Good quality, really strong and they can cope with a lot of weight. I hang kitchen tools and pot holders off of them. I can NOT pull these magnets straight off. I have to slide them over to the edge of the refrigerator, and remove them from the side.

Ces crochets ont été acquis pour une prochaine croisière. Leur construction est de qualité. Nous avons sélectionné cette capacité d'accrochage. L'objectif étant d'obtenir une meilleure résistance lors de leur usage verticalement.

So glad we took these on our cruise. Used all 4 of them in the bathroom - to hang up wet swimsuits, bath scrunchies, etc. Really convenient, took virtually no space in our luggage, and gave us extra way to hang items. They are sturdy and hold firmly to metal.

These are strong magnets I am sure a lot of cruisers have purchased and reviewed already. They worked like a charm to stick to the cabin wall hang bathing suits or towels. But since then we have found other uses for these we have hung lights and other things but in a pinch my husband used one to find a stud lol

I ordered the 4 pack of 100 lb strong magnets and paid a premium over other magnets for sale on Amazon based on the indicated strength. The magnets look and feel great, were easy to assemble (just screw hook into base) and were delivered sealed in 2 bags, one holding the hooks, the other holding the magnets, and the bags were in a small box. I tried the magnets on several different metal surfaces and am using them on my fridge to hold silicone kitchen gloves and a wreath on my door (for Xmas time). The reason for the 3 stars is they can NOT hold more than 1.5 pounds of weight (no where near the indicated 100 lbs suspended or 27lbs vertical). It can hold one of those kitchen gloves alright but with 2, it slides down.

The adhesive force of these (I got the130lb version) seems as advertised...it is VERY difficult to pull these directly away from an ideal metal surface...I've only able to remove them by angling them from one side. So they're strong enough to hold a lot of weight, but still easy enough to remove when needed. The shear force (sliding along a surface) obviously can vary due to the level of friction on the surface but they seem more than strong enough to hold fairly heavy items on a vertical plane. For reference I was able to hang a standard sized hammer on the side of my garage fridge, which is a fairly slippery surface, on one of these, and it stayed put well enough. These were strong enough that I could locate floor joists under my hardwood, because these magnets were easily attracted to the nails in the subfloor. Ditto for finding wall studs through sheetrock. This will come in extremely handy for home improvement tasks. I'm glad I bought these. They will be very useful to have around. If you're going on a cruise and need to hang items on a vertical surface these are probably the ones you want (130 lb). Anything less may slide down the wall with anything but the lightest weight items.
