These hooks work wonderfully on the metal guides used on accustical ceilings. No need to worry that streamers and paper stars and going to fall. A staple for the halls and the classroom.

I use them for hanging items while on a cruise ship. I like that the hooks can be unscrewed for travelled. Have used for over 2 years and the silver hasn't tarnished.The magnet is strong enough that hats, bags, umbrellas, and clothing stay up.

Bought these after I saw a cruise travel hack that recommended using magnetic hooks to increase the storage space in your stateroom on a cruise ship. These are listed as holding up 30 lb, which they probably will do, provided they are hanging from the ceiling. Due to the small base they have a tendancy to slide down the wall with anything more than a couple of pounds. That being said, they were handy for hanging up swimsuits to dry etc as long as you're hanging from the ceiling. We did stick a bunch on the wall and use them to decorate the room with streamers and balloons for our granddaughter. Overall I think these are great, but if the base was a bit bigger I don't think they would slide as much. As usual YMMV.
