Had one arrive yesterday defective. Missing a bolt in back, just a loosely arranged pile of metal. Figured I'd exchange for a replacement and maybe I'd open a box with an actual complete tool inside. The replacement just arrived in the same unusable condition, I'm returning both tomorrow. DO NOT BUY!! Go with another brand like OMT

Working on a quad piston with a C Clamp was a pain. This did its job and did it quickly, which is really nice.

some slight grinding to fit my aftermarket brake calipers.Work pretty well at spreading the Pistons.Pretty convenient because I'm constantly switching between street and race brake pads.This will be a BAER SS4 4 piston caliper with an HB100 brake pad.The Wilwood six piston billet superlite has a 7416 brake padYou can look online to see the dimensions of those brake pads.

I work on brakes at least monthly and this device has worked well. The nuts needed to have LocTite added to them because they kept loosening up, but it is a non-issue, more of an annoyance.

I love this product! I have used it on all my brake jobs. Really works great. You don't need to use it with old brake pad as it has a solid plate on both sides.

This 29100 quick quad brake piston spreader does make the job much easier. It's a little tricky to use because one needs to be sure that the master brake reservoir is not too full before pushing the brake caliper piston back into the cylinder because it can overflow and spill brake fluid inside the engine compartment and onto the ground/floor. I followed the recommendations using what several YouTube videos published about slightly opening the relief valve so I didn't force all the brake fluid into the reservoir but rather captured it into a bottle. This works well using that process so I don't push dirty old brake fluid into the master brake reservoir.

This is the only product on the market that makes changing floating callipers that bit easier. Tried cheaper brands and versions but nothing comes close to this. Really sturdy and will be used until I can no longer work on my own car.

I got this on the recommendation of the company that makes my brake disc. I have eight piston Brembos and spreading them with an c clamp like I would do on older Brakes is like playing whack-a-mole. This solves that problem and makes a pad replacement really easy. That’s especially nice if you’re tracking your car and going through pads quickly. You’re not too cool for this tool. Worth the money for just one job.

Pushes all the pistons back at the same time and is quick and easy to use. Not much else to say really.

Used this on front brake job for Lexus GX460.This truck uses fixed 4 piston calipers, and this tool makes it cake to push them all back with the caliper still on.Just take it slow and the pistons will retract--no need to crack the bleeder, just take off the master cylinder cap.Only point to note is that before use you should position the spreaders radially on the tool and tighten down the large hex collar (nut) or the spreaders won't be rigid enough, thus failing to push the pistons back. That's NOT in the instructions--so, pay attention to that.Also it seems the painted handles maybe don't hold up so well (paint came off after one use).Anyway, at least for light duty, I see this as a great tool. A little steep at $50, but--beats prying on your rotors with a screwdriver and messing around with multiple clamps, etc. to get the pistons back in.Value: 4 starSturdiness: 4 star as I can't really judge yet, but, outlook is goodEasy to use: 5 star--huge time saver.
