Good sturdy tool. Had issues using it though. I have 2006 Subaru outback. Front calipers are dual piston, and this tool is designed to push from the caliper centerline, so it was a bit uneven pushing the pistons back. Tool was almost unusable on the back brakes. My back brakes have tiny calipers and the tool would not even fit inside caliper - gap inside my calipers was around 1inch or so and minimum distance on working end of this tool is probably more like 1.25inches (very rough approximate). Had to use the old C-clamp to compress my back calipers..

I used to replace the front and rear brake pads of my 2021 RAV4. Very useful tools. Simple and easy to use. Great buy.

It works, don't need anything fancier and the addition of the caliper hangers was nice too. I specifically like that they're silver so it's easier to see and remember to take them off when you're done.

I have bought probably four or five different brake spreaders off Amazon and all of them have been garbage or have fell apart. I could tell these were heavy duty from the minute I took them out of the box and it even has a 10 mm hex on the end so you can tie with a ratchet. Also they came with some pretty sweet work gloves. Awesome!
