MGN12 Linear Rail Guide
Friendly Reminder:
- Normally, there may be 1 or 2 missing balls on each side. The carriage block may get slightly stuck when it's full of balls because the balls on each side need some space to run properly.
- If the guide rail feels a bit stiff, please apply some lubricant, and it will run smoothly.
- The length mentioned on this page refers to the length of the rail, not the stroke of the slider.
- The guide rail may have a tolerance of 0.025mm or -0.025mm, but this does not affect its normal use.

While these aren't top of the line rails, they are pretty good for the money. I purchased 3 total so far. 1 about a month ago then 2 more a few days ago. 2 of the 3 rails were very smooth and the 3rd cleaned up after running it back and forth for a few minutes. Make sure you watch some videos on how to clean them and lubricate because that is a crucial part to the longevity and smoothness.

This is the 4th linear rail from three vendors and is the worst of the lot. I have cleaned it (I haven't taken out the bearings yet) and lubed it with Super Lube and it still requires a lot of force. This is more than I have had to do with any others I have purchased.Using it for the Stealth Heat Insert 3d print project.

Got this to upgrade my 3D printers to linear rails, and it works great!The rail arrived straight, and the carriage glides smoothly with no catches anywhere. Going to get more of these as I upgrade more printers
