I have been searching everywhere, and there is no mention of the hardware size that will fit the rails. I have a 2040 v slot and still have no clue what hardware I need to attach the rail to the 2040.

I originally said they were okay. I take that back! The bearings are total JUNK! I can't use these due to the rough bearings. I'm guessing QC isn't up to par. They're not great. I planned on mounting them to 2040 extrusions. The holes are just a little too far apart to work. I'm going to figure out a way to make them work, but if they just changed the pattern by 1mm, it would fall right onto a 2040. Seems like a commonsense thing to do. I need to find a good straight edge as I don't believe they are perfectly straight.

These are good quality made rails. They can be used for a number of things . I used them in my Motorhome. I made a box , with a tablble top inside , I slide it behind driver seat , and out to open table .

I use this pair suspended holding my Z-axis for my CNC Machine and have no sag or bowing when cutting. It is very smooth in my setup and has very little twist. I found these better than using the rectangle Linear Guides using MGN bearings.

Has got to be the worst packaging I've seen, everything was just thrown into the box, one rail didn't even have the blue plastic wrapping, two of the blocks were bouncing around the box out of the bags, luckily the plastic inserts didn't fall out of the blocks. The product it self seem good for the price, will know once installed.

I needed to make a jig for using a router to mill large slabs flat on both sides. The slabs are too large for a planner or a drum sander. If the slab was not close to square, a belt sander would not be able to cut enough off. So instead of spending $1000 for a jig, I am building one with the help of these Linear Rails with the ball bearing slides. I actually bought 2 sets of the rails, 1 set is 60 inches and the this set (40 inches). The longer rails will be mounted on a side that is parralell to the slab on each side for the jig to rest on and be able to move it from one end to the other and the shorter rails will attach to the bearings of the longer rails an the router will sit on a platform attached to the bearings of the shorter rail. This allows for the router to be moved easily across the slab and from one end to the other and hold the router flattening bit at the same level.

I noticed the blocks are not quite as smooth as I had hoped, but they do the job quite nicely. I used only one of the rails so far. I had to cut it to fit my cheap 3d printer. I replaced the flimsy 8mm tray rails with something a bit more substantial and much more robust. The carriage is much more sturdy now and auto-leveling the machine is much easier since the bed doesnt wiggle any more. It may have been a bit overkill, but thats my style.

I bought these rails to fabricate a custom TV mount for a VERY large flatscreen we bought. I wanted to be able to slide the tv to the side to be able to access a hidden area behind the tv where the receiver, etc would be stored. The tv weighs in at 97 lbs, and I am able to slide it back and forth on these with a light touch of only 1 finger. They seem to be well constructed and are well worth the price.

Two of the bearing sets are really rough. Other than that, price is good and quality is as expected.
