These water filters are visually beautiful. I keep mine on top of the kitchen counter for easy access throughout the day. It does take time for the water to filter but once the pitcher is full it dispenses quickly which I like. Refilling is as easy as bringing the pitcher directly under the water faucet allowing the top to automatically open without having to remove it. Very convenient! The most important part, the filtered water tastes great! I would also keep the pitcher in the frig so I can have chilled water on demand. The 7cup size was perfect for me but I would consider the 10cup size if your family drinks a lot of water. The silicone base is a great added feature that helps from slipping.

A very recent purchase, but I love it so far. I cleaned every component as instructed, filtered one batch through the membrane (then dumped), added the carbon filter, and filtered another batch of water (then dumped), all before filtering water for drinking. Yes, it filters slowly. The rate suits my needs perfectly, however. First night, over the course of the evening, I added and filtered water until the carafe was full for the morning. When I pour a glass, I replenish the reservoir and filter more. I use it to have drinking water on hand throughout the day. The water tastes great! The glass carafe looks beautiful, too. I am pleased with the design and the quality.

I love this water pitcher. It looks nice and stylish. Holds a good amount of water. Love the fact that it is glass so you don’t need to worry about those pesky microplastics leaching into your water. The taste is good the water keeps cool inside as well. The pitcher does take a while to fill but that hasn’t been a very big deal. I was considering going the 10 cup pitcher but I’m happy I stuck with this one, it is a little heavy when all the way full and I think the 10 cup would be quite a bit heavier. All in all love this pitcher.

I was skeptical of the tall design at first but have gotten used to it. We go through a lot of water every day and it keeps up. Taste of filtered tap water is good.

Très déçu c'est ma deuxième carafe, et celle-ci la filtration est interminable, c'est du goutte à goutte je ne comprends pas...

We have been using this 7 cup glass pitcher for over a month now. It is too small and too slow for us. I thought maybe it would get faster or better some how with time, but it hasn't. There are only two of us, but we like to drink a lot of water, especially in the mornings. The filter only holds 2 cups of water at a time and takes forever to filter through all the way. Maybe it would be okay for a single person living by themselves?? We had the larger plastic 10 cup pitcher before getting this one, and its much better suited to the amount of water we drink. Even though its cracked on the bottom and leaking water, and I need to replace the filter in it, we've been still using it in addition to the 7 cup one, just because it's capacity and ability to keep up with our pace of water drinking. I was really wanting a glass pitcher instead of our leaking plastic one, I'm sad they don't offer a larger glass pitcher - I'm assuming it's because it might break more easily. Also, I'm sad they don't over a longer return period... This was a waste of $70 and if I could I'd love to return it and get a new plastic pitcher instead that isn't leaking. We do love the brand and the quality of their water filters!

Why is it better than Brita and PUR? For starters, it's a glass pitcher and not plastic. The glass is very similar to Pyrex quality grade glass but just a bit thicker. Because of this, the pitcher does get heavy when it is full of water.Second, most water filters filter out everything including the essential minerals found in water like magnesium and potassium that the human body actually needs to help sustain good health and hydration. The filtration system (which is a 2-stage system) removes bacteria, parasites and microplastics that have been found in some water sources. In addition, it greatly reduces any lead, mercury and over 30 other types of chemicals that have been classified as "forever chemicals" (look into these further and you will be shocked as to what they are, trust me!)Third, the 2-stage filtration system that it uses (microfilter and activated carbon plus ion exchange filter) is what makes it so unique. This system is what actually helps make whatever water you filter through taste better. Just as a note, the microfilter is good for 1 year or 260 somewhat gallons of water. The activated carbon plus ion exchange filter is good for about 2 months or 40 gallons of water.Yes, it is pricier than a Brita or PUR water filter pitcher. But the benefits you get will from a Lifestraw water filter pitcher definitely outweighs the price. I've used it when making regular hot coffee or tea and cold brew coffee or tea and it really has made a difference in the overall taste and after taste of each drink.

Decent water filter but cannot seem to get rid of blue-green algae buildup after a month or so and need to clean again. Also wish it were of the right size to put in the fridge but can't fit it anywhere.
