The amount of charcoal settling on the bottom of my jug is disturbing. Can't seem to stop itI love my waterdrop system but probably won't buy these filters again. I'll stick to the regular ones

We've had our chubby for over 2 years and the water is delicious! Even guests comment on how good it tastes! It's easy to change the filter and it drips quickly!Recently, the filter indicator needed to be replaced and I contacted Water Drop customer service. I was told to provide my order number from my Amazon order and they would send me a new lid for the pitcher....at no charge!!!!I few days later my package arrived and it was not just the lid, but a whole new pitcher!!! Needless to say, their customer service exceeds 5 stars! I'm so grateful to Harper for the super customer service. Not only that, but a couple weeks later, Harper sent an email inquiring if everything was to my satisfaction! Incredible!!!I cannot recommend the pitcher highly enough....and Water Drop sure does seem to be a great company to deal with! Thanks Harper!!

The filter is very good, it filters very well, the water is very good quality and very tasty. If you pour two cups of filtered and filtered water, the difference is very big.

I bought this instead of the normal filter. So getting t so much more for the same price. Fast filtering speed. No smell to the water. Designed perfectly for an easier more manageable time. And fits perfectly in the pitcher.

Buenas noches, es la tercera vez que compro este paquete, pero el primer cartucho salió tapado y no filtra, le di una agitada y empezó a escurrir en gotas lentas agua en color negro

This is the first time one of these filters clogged since I’ve been buying them, which has been 3 times I believe. This time 1 of the filters was a bit slower than usual, and 1 of the filters clogged. I was able to unclog it by placing it in a bowl of water to soak and then shaking it under running water. The filter seems to have been used up much quicker than the previous ones. The filters are usually of good quality and last quite a while. I’m about to order more right now since it’s likely not going to happen again. The reviews for the product are very good.

This alkaline water and Waterdrop filtration system is new to me. Not sure if I got a bad filter or if alkaline water should taste like you are drinking water out of a garden hose. Followed the instructions on preparation of the filter and discarded about a gallon of water before use. I have a waterdrop glass filter pitcher and water taste fine for the first taste test - clean. A day later my daughter complained drinking the water out of her Stanley Cup tasted like water from garden a garden hose.I thought maybe the alkaline water was reacting with the plastic straw that is used to drink out of Stanley cup. Overnight I poured fresh filtered water in a glass cup, plastic cup and a stainless-steel thermos. I tasted the water before the experiment and no garden hose taste. The cups were left overnight without being covering but the thermos had the lid close. The next morning, I tried the water from the plastic and glass cup. Water in the glasses tasted like garden hose water. I tried the water from the closed thermos, and it was much better. Only thing I can think now is it is not plastic chemical leaching into the alkaline water, but the water is oxidizing or something in the filtration process is causing reaction to the air? I have not tested the pH before and after.I have put in the standard filter WD-PF-01A for time being until I have more time to research alkaline water and the Waterdrop filtering system.Update; customer service was concerned about my satisfaction and contacted me to follow up on my experience with Waterdrop product. So far the filter is am using is perfect. No funny taste, just clean water. Impressed with the customer service and product thus far, I bought another pitcher to put inside the fridge.

This is the last alkaline filter for me. In fact, I threw the whole pitcher and filters in the garbage. I haven't seen any problems with the white filters, but I'm unsure now I want to continue with them. I replaced the filter in the blue one and as already mentioned in numerous reviews "they were dirty" Try microbial cysts. I cleaned mine and after several times replaced it and noticed what I thought was bubbles after. Then I noticed it was getting worse. I said, Gee I wish I had my Jewelry magnifier. I looked not well enough, but just thought I was paranoid. The bubbles didn't move ? Just thought they were resting on the bottom of the pitcher. I fill it all the time ??? That is the problem. If they had of gone away that would be one thing, but they still were on the bottom of the pitcher weeks later ? I was really really paranoid. I found my Jewelry magnifier. So now to get to the bottom of it and what I saw I didn't like. It wasn't dirt, but what looked like protozoan. The shape was kind of like a cucumber, more pointed at the ends, but what gives it away is it's large nucleus. Most bacteria and microbes have holes because they are very much like a city of their own. They have storage, and excrete waste and I could go on, but you get it. One of my Favorite Subjects was Microbiology in College, but not in my drinking water. The water protozoan was what you would find in lakes and everyone knows you don't drink water from the lake. Although I did once. The taste maybe familiar, but what is in it isn't. So I know I moved some checking them out. They looked sort of like a tadpole with the jelly or matrix around them encased in a protein cellular formation. I guess enough of that, but at first I thought it was carbon within the filter. So don't think Dirty or Carbon, get a jewelry magnifier and check it out up close. It even grossed me out. So only PUR now for me. I get the one that is genuine and removes lead and it is slow as anything filling up the pitcher. Just keep it full and let it trickle in the pitcher in the refrigerator before you use it. I'm sure you would prefer it cold anyway, but do it before you want a drink. That slowness tells me it is working hard to remove stuff in the water. It isn't suppose to run right through a filter. Try to get the ones with the paper filter on the bottom, they have a white cover. The faucet ones will be what you usually see, same color box though saying it doesn't capture microbial cysts, but I have had no problems and I think it does. It is the green box for the faucet and they white top for the pitcher or cannister. I will only trust PUR from now on. They aren't as expensive as they used to be with all of the competition, so now is the time to switch back. This alkaline one is no good and just thinking about it makes me sick. I'm keeping the pitcher though, it housed the white filter. Don't take the light off or you will have dust and dirt get in where that hole is. It is openly exposed to the air. I hope this has helped because water is so important. Slow or not, I'm using PUR with the white top.
