The Phantom PHOTOBIO Advanced Quantum PAR Meter provides accurate and cost-effective measurement for any light source used in horticultural applications. The Advanced Quantum PAR meter is designed to measure PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation) flux in wavelengths ranging from 400 to 700nm. There is a positive proportional relationship between the number of photons absorbed in 400 to 700nm band and the rate of photosynthesis, important for maximizing crop yield.

I was informed this was just as accurate as the pricey apogee meters by others who tested them side by side. I love the shorter coil cord it comes with, it makes it so easy to pick up and use and yet it comes with a longer cord if needed. I find that longer cords just get tangled and in the way but very handy to have on in case you do need it for something. It comes in a cute and convenient carrying case. No complaints about this meter. Just wish it could do what some other par meters can do, which is read red, blue and green light separately, also wish it was a little cheaper.

If you want to know your real par / ppfd reading without using lux this is the real deal with an affordable price, great value for the money works awesome a must have for the real hobbyist.

If you’re a hobbyist gardener and want to take it to the next level, PPFD is probably what you’re looking for.Although item isn’t cheap it still affordable on the long run if you grow indoors and spend on growing lights.A scientific tool anyone can use.

Ordered this product and tested it out. Works great out of the box and easy to set up. Tested the meter to my other light meter to make sure it was in working order. Came out the same reading. Good product with low cost.

I'm thoroughly impressed with this light meter! From the moment I took it out of the box, I could tell this was a high-quality piece of equipment. The carrying case is absolutely fantastic - it's sturdy, well-padded, and has a sleek, professional look.But the real star of the show is the light meter itself. It's incredibly easy to operate, with an intuitive interface and clear, readable display. The buttons have a nice, tactile feel and the whole device just feels solid and well-constructed. Taking light readings is a breeze - it gives me accurate, reliable results every time.What I appreciate most is how user-friendly this light meter is. After reading substantially about taking measurements from LEDs versus sunlight, I was a bit intimidated by light meter. But this one has made the whole process simple and straightforward. The instructions are clear, and I was able to start using it right out of the box.Overall, I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The combination of the excellent carrying case and the easy-to-use, make it a no brainier. This is a necessity for growers ESPECIALLY if your serious about your hobby. I need it for my GROWERS choice roi-,e720 . Is a beast of a light.Comes in a case , simple to use ( hold the sensor where ya want it measured . Hold a button if you want to program it for records). Simple! It's given me a boost in my confidence for this and future grows by giving me a baseline . Taking out all the guess work and pain in azz calculations. I don't have another meter to compare accuracy but compared to charts is close enough for me. Saved me hundreds of dollars compared to others . Is a little light which may cone off as cheo to some as I read in another review before purchase. But is certainly not a strike against what it's intended to do for sure. Sone may prefer it being light. Less impact if dropped accidentally. I'm completely pleased with mine 👍
