Working good, installed this timer switch for baseboard heater.

Vert good, significantly smaller than earlier versions, so easier to fit. The description may not be clear, this type of timer can be set to a time, or turned off, but never set to ON (without a time-out). That's what I wanted, but some units can be set to 'full-time ON'.

Easy to install fan or light timer. I used it as a bathroom fan timer using the neutral and ground. I believe it can be installed without neutral, however in the paperwork it says you must have a ground in that case.Anyway - very clean look, nice tactile clicks. The green indicator is a decent nightlight in the bathroom.

I have installed one of these in every bathroom. (For the fan) and in the laundry room and closets. (For the lights). I guess it’s obvious why🤦♂️. They work perfectly and install easily. Good wiring diagram included.

Very well designed and very easy to install. The turn off functionality saves a lot of energy and money given how many hours we forget to turn ventilating fans off.

Set the timer to ventilate and leave! Works as it should. No worries about shutting the fan off! Worth every penny!

Got 3 DT104 and 1 DT204, all for bathroom fans to ensure more time, up to 4 hours ( DTx04), to vent shower humidity. Wired all using option 2a as if neutral not present in box. So joining green and white together to ground. Actually using the neutral (2b) didn't work, fan timer never turned off. Easy to install. On inital power up takes 5-8 seconds to setup (might be on) then switches to default off mode.Note why you might want a DT204. Model 'DT1xx' means simple on/off timer switch. DT2xx means a 3-way switch (controlled by either of 2 switches). Where I live, at least one upstares bathroom fan MUST have a 3-way switch controlled downstairs to vent smoke (kitchen/fireplace). So I needed one DT204 also for that one bathroom. Was also simple. It is still a deep switch to fit in the box, but not as deep any many.

When I plumb a house I always run a complete hot-water recirculation loop of PEX under each fixture to be used. I then install a recirculation pump near the water heater, and in the past have the outlet serving the pump be controlled by two, three, or even four switches. One major problem. No one ever flipped off the switch after using, and the gas bill actually went up over a non-tankless system.I even put in lighted switches so people would know when the pump was on. They still left them on - must have thought the switch was a cute nightlight. So I contacted the engineers at Leviton and described my needs and asked if they had a solution. They got back to me within two days, and even had a manager do a follow-up to be sure someone had contacted me, and this was their solution.Since my wiring was for using three-way switches I was concerned a timer like this would not work. Easy solution. You simply install two of these and both locations can independently turn on the pump. The time you push has a little green light by the selection, and that shows on the other switch as well. The directions are complete and make wiring easy.Just be aware you will have needed to run either a 12/3 with ground or a 14/3 with ground, or code also allows you to run two 12/2s or two 14/2s. You just have to be certain you have two hot leads (red or black), a neutral (white), and a ground. Don't fudge and potentially cause a bad situation. Now there is an alternative. You can use one of these and their remote switch, which pairs with this timer, It is less expensive, but the drawback is that it only will turn the pump on and off. The time set is determined by this timer, and if the last use was one hour then pushing the remote switch will turn on the pump for one hour, even if you only wanted 15 minutes. Or if you wanted an hour but the timer last was used for 15 minutes. So it has limitations. That is why I chose to install two of these. For larger projects you can install one of these and then multiple remote switches, serving the purpose of a standard four-way switch setup. But you will have the limitation of all remote switches using the last setting on the timer. I do not believe they make four-way timers, but it never hurts to ask. I sort of doubt it though.Anyway, my wife was the chief culprit of leaving on the pump and she had gotten to hate having instant hot water. After these were installed I got a big hug and was told these are the best thing I've done on the house. Strikes me as a bit of an overstatement. So for my farmhouse remodel I have two more of these to use for that recirculation pump. I get the two-hour version because that is about the length of the dishwasher cleaning cycle before it switches to drying mode.Great little devices, and mine have worked perfectly.

I put this on a bathroom exhaust fan and it works perfectly. Note that in order to wire this up when there is no "neutral" wire present, join the ground wire from the switch and the neutral (white) wire from the switch to the ground wire from the house--all three capped together. That is not made clear in the instructions, so I tried to install this by simply capping off the white wire and leaving it unused, but that doesn't work. The fan will run, but the switch isn't in the loop. A Leviton tech support person got me straight.Other than a very small click when it switches off, this switch works silently. No tick-tick or annoying unclamping noise then it shuts off.It appears Leviton decided to sell the color change kits generically and not personalized for each of the many time options on these switches, but I can attest to the color change kit being very easy to install and that they look good. The difference is there are no numerical labels on the buttons. Instead, there are markings to indicate the length of "on" time. If you know your switch, the printed numerals are not needed. The kits are on Amazon too:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C9WCWVHQ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1Can't speak to the durability of the switch, but I will update this with any good or bad developments.

I purchased a few of them to control the fans in our washrooms. They are very easy to install, work very well with washroom fans and are easy to control. There is a green LED indicting the current setting which is a nice feature to have. They also work well with LED lights. Well made. Would buy again if I find another application in the future.

This things works excellently. It has multiple time settings. I bought the 10,20,30,60 version. What's nice is that you can hold the 60 for 5 seconds and it will stay on for 24 hours which is very nice for if you have a family that is showering all day or if you do a deep clean and are trying to clear out the bleach smell.Only dinging it one star because they were expensive. Read the instructions before install because it's not like a standard switch.

Easy to install, functions perfectly, and a cheap upgrade considering it can help prevent a fire in your house. Our home is older and had only a standard light switch for the bathroom fan. Since bathroom fans tend to get very hot after long periods of use, and naturally get very dirty quickly, this upgrade was a must for me. I love the style and the little led light to indicate time selection and it'll flash on the 10 minute button when time is about to run out.
