Works as it should. Simple to install.

I used this for a humidifier above our washer and dryer. This switch requires a neutral, there are 4 connecting wires needed! The wires on the switch are labeled nicely. Built solid and works as advertised. I couldn't replicate any issues with the timer.

Nicely marked countdown switch and easy to follow instructions were included. Note: Tinned wire ends on switch may require snipping to allow wire nut to cover conductor. First was a residential bathroom and the other one was a warehouse restroom. Wire nuts & hardware screws were included. We would recommend this countdown switch.

My other switches are apparently some-kind of off-white or almond colour maybe, and I didn't notice until I installed this switch ... so check that if you care! The switch works well and was easy to install like any standard electrical stuff with marrettes.

It was easy to install to replace an old timer. All the wires are labeled and as I disconnected the old timer (different brand that failed) I attached the wires of the new timer - fast and easy. Best of all it works as advertised. (Don't forget to turn the power off first!)

This came on time and looks like a quality product. I like that it has options that are more than 1 hour. Very useful for my purpose. In addition, the repeat button is very helpful. It's a good design to be able to simple press the time duration options we need instead of having to toggle, like some other design. Overall, a good design and a good product and I'm happy with it.

I sure like the extra functions to choose from - my old one that stopped working - had 30, 15, 10 & 5 minutes intervals but not an option to turn it on & keep it on, and definitely not an hour option. Pretty straight forward instructions, and easy install if you know what you are doing. It was my first time installing these type of fixtures and it was pretty stressful because I don't like dealing with electrical. I just turned off the main breaker and that took care of it. I will buy again.

History: I purchased 3 of these timers to use in a new home construction. They are used to power bathroom exhaust fans. I looked around awhile both online and in stores such as Home Depot and Lowes. This switch is priced about 2-4 dollars cheaper than most, but that wasn't my reason for buying it. I really liked the look of this switch and I liked the fact that the time intervals were 5,10,20,30,45,and 1hr. Some other switches will have much longer intervals, and because I was using this for bathroom fans I thought these intervals would be perfect.Good: Product is as described. Arrived on time and undamaged. I like the look and the push buttons. I like that it has a regular on/off function in addition to the time intervals. They fit my special ordered Gang face plates (all three of my wall plates were an uncommon gang box layout). The white is true the the standard white face-plate color. I like that the indicator light show you what setting it is on and they they change as the timer counts down. They were easy to install with good instructions. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE- I will explain more at the end of this review.Bad: I agree with a lot of the reviews that say the buttons seem loose and/or there are gaps that light will shine through. That being said it doesn't bother me one bit. If someone comes to my house and says "Hey I like your timer switches except for the fact the indicator lights shine though the cracks between the buttons" I will tell them to get the "F" out of my house you nit picky SOB! ---- I'm joking :)The biggest negative was I ordered three of these switches, and one of them was faulty. It would just turn itself on randomly. After checking with the electrician he assured me that it was wired properly and told me that the switch was bad. Unfortunately I bought these switches 2 months before I actually installed them so it was past Amazons return window. This is were it turns good again......I emailed the seller explaining what happened and that I was outside the Amazon return window and asked if I could possible exchange it for a new one. They immediately responded and said they would send me a replacement (no charge). I responded to the email thanking them and I asked if they wanted me to return the faulty one. They emailed back and said no; told me they already sent out the replacement; and provided me the tracking number. All of this took place in less than a 24 hour period! They far exceeded my expectations.Unfortunately this happens quite frequently with many products (yes most of which are from China). Their quality control isn't were it should be. A good example is that I purchased 32 recessed lights for my new home (not from this seller); and 3 of those were faulty. As a consumer we can't do too much about the sub-par products from China except for not buying them; but at least this seller respects their customers and immediately rights the wrong.

I got this timer for my bathroom exhaust fan. Previously, I had a regular on/off switch and it would often be left on and wastefully work. Now, nobody needs to shut it off after, if they use the pre-timed buttons. Simply set it and forget it.Installation is simple. There are 4 clearly marked wires to connect. A NEUTRAL (white) wire must be present for it to work. If you’ve never done this before, the installation guide is clear and simple. Follow it and you’ll be done in no time. I had it completely installed within 10 minutes.Operation is easy. There are 7 buttons, each has a green LED light in the middle that stays on during operation. The big button acts as a manual On/Off switch and will override the other buttons. Press it once to turn On the power (solid LED goes On) and again to turn the power Off when you’re done (the LED turns off too). The 6 timer buttons are marked and timed with the following intervals 5-10-20-30-45-60 minutes. Pressing any one of them will light it up (flashing LED) and turn the power On, activating the selected timer. When that time is up, the power turns Off. Any button can be pressed at any time to override the previous setting. The neat thing that I like is when a higher time is selected and enough time passes to reach to the lower timed button, it will start flashing instead. For example when the 60 minute button is pressed, it starts flashing.. When 15 minutes go by, the 45 minute button starts flashing instead. In another 15 minutes, the 30 min button will start flashing instead. After 10 more minutes, the 20 and so on until all the time runs out or until it’s manually turned off. That way you always know approximately how much time is left - very clever. There is no night-light feature or option on this model. When nothing is activated, there is no light that stays on.The fit and finish are good, but that is where it losses a star in my opinion. Everything fits well. The switch is the same size as a standard switch, but with some more depth to it. So if you have a short/compact box with many wires, then it might not fit well. The color is slightly off. More like a gray/white, therefore it’s slightly different than my dual faceplate and the current switch next to it. The included faceplate is a bright glossy white which is different than the switch itself. The switch is slightly textured and is more of a matte finish. The buttons are easy to press and have a nice precise click to them. The buttons however are a bit loose. No, they won’t fall off or break, they just have a slight rattle to them. On other switches I’ve tried the buttons were tight. While on this one, the buttons have a bit of movement to them. Not a big deal though.Also, the buttons bleed some of the light through so it illuminates the surrounding buttons a bit. It is clear which one is pressed/lit though. I wish the buttons or their LEDs were better protected from the light bleeding, it would just look better.In the box were the timer, installation manual, white glossy faceplate, two different pairs of screws (2 for timer & 2 for the faceplate) and 4 screw-on wire caps.I received a retail sample for my honest and unbiased review. I hope it helps others decide if this is the right timer switch for them. It can be used for lights, fans and other applications requiring a power switch. It works well in my experience and I am happy with it so far. If my experience with it changes over time, I’ll be sure to update the review accordingly. Thank you for reading.
