My teenager keeps leaving the bathroom fan on all night after a shower so got this to replace the switch. Easy to add with just the two wires and works well. It has the connection for a ground also if available. No more endless fan sucking heat out of the house all night.

I replaced an existing switch for my bathroom fan with this timer switch. Unfortunately after connecting it, it was not functional at all. It just doesnt work. Maybe i got a bad unit. I waited for the warmup time. I let it sit for 15 minutes and the switch is just dead.

Bought it for a bathroom exhaust fan. After thinking about different switches, I think timer switches are the best. You hit the 30min/60min button as you enter the shower and then the switch do the job of delayed shutting down.Liked the fact that the switch uses ground and not the neutral wire - so it ended up being an easy replacement. What I don't like about the switch is that the LED doesn't stay on - nothing to tell you that the fixture is on. Still a decent product but could have been so much better.

The install was straight forward enough. I had some confusion because I had 2 black wires not 1 red/1 black, but turns out black/black works the same as red/black. Once I figured that out and re-stripped the wires from my old switch it went smoothly. Timer works great, and does what it is expected to do. No issues.

My house has conduit, which means there is not a standalone ground. The ground is the conduit. For every other switch, outlet, etc, the metal body if the switch is gounded by screwing it into the box via the ears. On this one, apparently the switch ears are not part of the ground circuit. The switch would not work without the ground wire itself being used, which is a pain since you need special screws to add a ground mount to the metal conduit box.The switch came with everything else needed to install it, wire nuts, cover plate, and all the screws needed besides that ground screw for conduit. That ground screw should be added, and/or the ears of the switch work for a ground path.Once installed, had no problems with the switch. Waited around 10 minutes after install and the switch worked fine.

I understand that soon it may be code, but we had a new home built in 2022 and all 3 bathroom fans required these countdown timers. Easy to install and use, great timed exhaust cycle. Better than turning on the fan then forgetting it.

I purchased this timer switch to replace the existing toggle switch for our 60 watt wall-installed towel warmer. The towel warmer in this bathroom is intended to be left on all the time, but we do not feel comfortable with doing that. This timer allows for ample time to let the towel warmer both warm and dry towels, but then shut off automatically (and safely). It is convenient for us to turn it on right before getting in the shower and letting it run for a couple timed hours, to keep the towel from acquiring a moldy smell.Install was very easy, and we did not require the version with the neutral wire. My in-laws purchased the same timer for their bathroom vent fan, and it works perfectly for that as well!

This Enerlites variable bathroom timer can work with a fan, or a light, but not both at the same time. I wanted to prevent our bathroom fans from staying on all day (which is what happens when there's nobody there to turn it off), so I connected it up to our 2nd switch (inward mounted one from the door) in our bathrooms. The switch takes up a standard SPST rocker type switch opening. My wall plates and electrical boxes in our bathrooms were selected to house two SPST type rocker switches: One for the light and the other for the fan. The blue light in the photo only blinks twice after you push the desired "On" time for the light, or fan you connect it up to. After it blinks, the light stays off (which is a bit silly, but not a serious flaw). GE makes a similar, almost identical timer. I just didn't see that one first, or I would have ordered the GE one. I must tell you that after I connected power to the timers by turning on the circuit breaker (I installed one in the two bathrooms I have) I witnessed the fans running when I returned to the bathroom. For some reason, when power is first applied, the timer function in both cases was a bit confusing in that the big over-ride button on the bottom didn't turn off the fan. However, if you let the fan run and turn off by itself, then it works normally after that. It's just weird that on the first Power-on that the function of the big button doesn't seem to work. I would have given it five stars except for that confusing first power-up issue that caused me to double check my wiring. But it wasn't my wiring; it's some glitch in the way the switch first powers up because it did the same thing in two different bathrooms for the two timers I ordered.
