Purchased this while my OEM charger for my Hyundai Ioniq 5 was on order. For the money, it's great and it actually charges higher than advertised at 1.8 kwh on a 110 circuit. The OEM one only charges at 1.2 kwh. I do not have access to a 240v circuit at home so I don't know how well it charges as a lvl 2 charger. Hopefully, I'll never have to buy again.

When paired with a JEEP, this charger fully charges the EV, then cycles on / off causing the jeep to wakeup every 30 seconds eventually running the 12v battery dead. Not worth trying on a JEEP anyway.I suppose if you want to be close and unplug it when the vehicle is fully charged it is usable.Customer service has stood by the 1 year warranty, so that is a plus.

I don’t expect every purchase to be perfect. How the vendor handles it makes a huge difference. If you’re unsure it’s worth the purchase because their customer service is solid. I had issues with my device in less than a year. They were able to assist with getting a new one under warranty. The experience was really smooth and no hassle.

I had this charger for less than a year before it failed—nearly taking my car with it. I drive a Chevy Volt, which doesn’t even push this charger to its limits, and I always park in a garage, safe from rain or harsh weather. The charger also stayed at home; I never used it for travel. One night, I plugged in my car as usual, but the next morning, I found a dead battery and a check engine light. If my car didn’t have a backup gas engine, I wouldn’t have been able to make it to work. When I got home, I switched to the Chevy charger I keep in the trunk, but it still wouldn’t charge. I even tried clearing the codes with my home scanner, but they came right back when I plugged the car into the Chevy charger again.I took my car to a mechanic, who suspected I might need a new charging module and charge port. Thankfully, he was able to clear the codes with professional equipment, and when I tried the Chevy charger again, everything worked fine. It turns out that some error codes can’t be cleared with a home scanner. This Liftsun charger is now just a useless brick that could cause costly trips to the dealer if used again. Save yourself the hassle and steer clear.

The charger has a long power cord, and the charging port is located in different locations on different vehicles, so it can be used easily. This charger supports 220V fast charging, which is twice as fast as the charger that comes with the vehicle. It comes with a plug conversion extension cord that can use two different voltage specifications. It is very easy to use, and the indicator light on the charger flashes to indicate the charging mode and speed.
