This fits perfectly to my camera, and a longer 100-400mm Nikon lens, eventhough it says its for a Sony. It just a standard screw mount. Its short enough that it can fit into most lenses and/or camera without jutting out to block the mount/tripod. The metal is milled well, and there's 2 safety screws to stop the mount from sliding off the rail when it is not screwed in properly.

This plate makes up for what should have been included with the lens from the start. It lines up perfectly with the holes on the lens and fits securely in place. It has a permanent spot on my lens and makes mounting my camera to my tripod so much easier.I highly recommend this if you own the 70-200 lens!
