The LMR-RF140 Tripod Mount Ring from Haoge is designed for Canon RF100-400mm F5.6-8 IS USM Lens for Canon RF-Mount. It features Arca-compatible dovetail which allow you attach your lens to Ball Head, Clamp or Panorama Head of Arca-Swiss standard. Reserved 1/4" and 3/8" screw holes at the bottom for attach lens to tripod directly. Built-in strap hole for carry.

Gives Your Camera Setup Better Balance
The ring adds stability to your camera and lens. Due to its weight, when the lens is mounted with a camera on a tripod, the center of gravity is shifted to the lens. The ring attaches to the tripod and can be shifted to adjust the balance.
Rotation
Having the camera secured with a ring around the lens makes it possible to rotate the lens between landscape and portrait modes without removing the camera from the tripod. The friction thumbscrews can then be tightened to secure the camera in the desired position.

100-400のレンズは特にヘビーということでは無いのですが、三脚に付けたときにどうしてもボーバーハングが大きくて三脚座が欲しくなりました。取り付けてから三脚にセットすると安定感は格段に違います。このレンズは元々三脚座の設定が無く、取り付けるスペースも無い。それをギリギリのスペースで取り付けました的な感じになります。本来は90°振るときに三脚座を緩めてカメラを回したいのですが、その時にガイドとかが無いので回すのが不安定で前後にズレることがあります。それでも三脚座を締め付けるとしっかりと固定できるので、その時だけ気をつけて使えばなんとかなります。撮影の時は、この三脚座が無いよりあった方が確実に良いので、元々設定の無いレンズに使えるようにしてくれたメーカーさんに拍手！です。

ポートレートのキャッチを入れたく、変なことろに影写り防止、ストロボ瞬時に縦横に変えて使用してます。ワイヤレスで使用してますがかなり使えます。どなたかのレビューでロックネジ使いにくいと有りましたが、私は全然大丈夫です。

This lens collar for the RF 100-400 f/5.6-8 just arrived today and I am happy with it, overall. However it is not perfect - if a perfect solution in this scenario is even possible! (lens collar for a lens clearly not designed for a lens collar). So kudos to Haoge for trying!It’s impossible to see in the photos here on Amazon, and I don’t think the listing mentions it, but this lens collar does has *felt coating* around its inner surface. This protects every bit of the lens mounting area, which I appreciate in a product like this… the other one offered here on Amazon has hard plastic instead!The Haoge fit on the RF 100-400 lens is very tight, however. There is only about 0.25mm wiggle room on each side of the collar, which means practically no room for error. For this reason, I wish they had made this collar at least 2mm thinner, and even thinner if physically possible.In any case, this thing clamps down hard on the lens and it stays there. I tested it for an hour or so today, and so far so good. Next test will be to see if it holds steady when mounted onto to my Cotton G3! I will update this review if I find any slippage over the course of a several-hour session this weekend.
