Look at several of the featured photos of the unit in action. See those hose clamps on the inlet side? That's probably because while the threads will thread into a female NPT fitting, they will never tighten, as they do not taper. It's probably ok for SEATING connections, but not for NPT type tapered threads.

I wish I had read the description closer. This valve adjusts the air FLOW, not the pressure. You still have to set the pressure at your air source. I am applying chinking to my cabin with various sized tips on my pneumatic gun and they each need slightly different pressure settings. I was hoping to be able to make adjustments at the gun with this valve. Not so much. It is well made and I am sure that for applications that need to adjust the air flow, it works great. I had to buy another regulator.

The first one I had leaked between the top silver pipe and the blue casing. I returned it for a refund and ordered another. The second one works well and hasn't leaked or fogged up. Seems to be of good quality.

The airflow is very easy to adjust and the accuracy seems to be on point. I did have a problem midway through paint which was it leaking however just tightening it down more fixed that. I’ve washed this thing 10ish times and drenched it with thinner to clean it and still works great.

This valve is awesome! I bought it because I read in the reviews that the lense on the guage is glass and not plastic. The plastic lenses get hazy if you get solvents on them. Big plus that it has a glass lense. I was surprised in the quality of the valve. It's really smooth and accurate when you adjust it. Turn it to the pressure you want and it stays there, no fluctuation. My Devilbiss valve has a glass lense but the adjustment is not great. If you set it and let go of the trigger and depress it again, it doesn't return to your setting. So you have to adjust again to get it right. Not the Lematec. Just set it and forget it. It's made in Taiwan and I've noticed that tools made in Taiwan are usually of better quality than some from China. I like the blue anodizing. Nice tool👍

Loving this gauge so far, its way better than all the cheap ones I've tried previously and the air control on this one is superb, not just basically on/of but very controllable. Have only just got it so hoping it lasts as good as it looks, time will tell but I'm very happy with paying a little extra for this one so far.
