Picked up an ancient Speedaire that has not been drained in years. The original valve is fronzen, the wingnut broke when I gave it too much encouragement, necessitating a replacement. I chose this over the wingnut variety because it looks so much easier to use and costs the same. This is also one instance in which an adjustable wrench works better than anything else for installation. One very minor suggestion - the "Off" and "On" lettering should have been oriented in the other direction, so that they are not upside down when the valve is installed and closed, not that anyone is going to read them during actual use.

One in the bottom of my air compressor and one to drain the low point in air lines. So far they are working great and very easy to turn on and off.

These valves were easy to install and are far easier to use than the original finger turn valves on my DeWalt air compressor. They drain the tanks much quicker too.

Haven't had a chance to install, but it looks to be a solid item. Nice to have the teflon tape for added leak protection.
