Using this product is a physical work out. Unless your ground is very soft. You need to apply pressure pushing down into the ground as you move across your lawn for the spikes to dig in.In addition, the nuts at the ends of the roller have a tendency to loosen and fall off when only moving in the forward direction. I needed to stop several times during the process to reattach the nuts at the end of the roller. You would need to roll backwards and forwards a small area at a time to prevent the nuts from loosening. I would not recommend this product for a medium to good size lawn. My lawns are about 30x30 and 30 x 60. I would suggest a more heavier duty weighted aerator or a motorized one to do the job on larger lawns.

It’s kinda worked, until the nuts kept falling off. I had to add 2 extra nuts to each screw. Don’t get his product. The handle even came scraped up.

Overall the product is ok.One of the nuts that holds it together kept coming off every time I would use it so I superglued it and it works fine now.I shouldn’t have had to super glue it but it is what it is.

I got this for my husband after he tried and hated the aerator shoes. He loves it! He said it was easy to assemble, built with quality parts, nice size and it worked very well. He's happy, so I'm happy. Definitely recommend this.

It work for maybe 3-4 uses and then the nuts decided to not want to stay on. I changed the nut and washers but it continues to be worthless, next stop is the trash

The parts of the handle do not fit snuggly and the nuts holding the roller on keep coming loose. Very disappointed

Easy to assemble and use. Light enough to push without getting tired; heavy enough to aerate the lawn. But... after doing my front yard it seized up. I loosened the nuts on the end of the roller; that helped for a few seconds. I verified it was cleared of leaves and grass.A minor design change should fix that problem in future models.
