Works well but the tool provided to clear out the cutting tubes is useless. The cutting tubes are narrower at the cutting end yet the cleaning tool is too wide to fit in that end. So the cleaning tool pushes the dirt towards the narrow end which doesn’t work. I use a water hose nozzle to blast out the dirt.

The Dolibest Lawn Coring Aerator is delivered as presented. The device is very well built and does the intended job well. Having the hand tool to clean out the individual aeration prongs is a great benefit and really necessary if you are using the device in compacted or clay like soil. I recommend this tool.

The metal was heavier than we thought ot would be, so it should last a long time. We have a 2 core version we bought years ago and this one is equal or better. Should make quick work of dead/bare spots from the dogs.

Have had this a year outside with no corrosion. Heavy construction - nothing negative to say about quality or value. Yeah, moisture of the ground has to be JUST right. Too dry, and you won't be able to sink this completely at 165lbs, too wet and it sticks and clogs. You will have to experiment with the right yard moisture to get this to work well. That said, over a week, I left this in my yard and pushed a couple rows each day after watering and got it done. That said, and although it's a quality tool, next year, I'll just pay the dude that leaves a flyer on my garage door to do this with a machine - just takes too long to do this manually.

I really wanted to like this, it’s solid and light but one prong clogged every time and one clogged half the time and one never clogged. So I ended up returning it.

This manual aerator is just what I expected. It is sturdy, easy to assemble and works great! Really the key to using this (or any other manual aerator) is the ground condition which is hard to know what works best until you try it. For example, my yard still has snow piles on it but I tried it in a sunny spot where the snow had melted (so the soil was sort of dry but still not too dry given the snow-melt) and it worked great. It does take some effort but I found rocking it side to side a bit helps to pierce the soil. This aerator may be short for tall people since the full length is 36.5 inches with 3.5 inch spikes resulting in a net 33 inch height once in the ground. I found (once in a while) when I needed to clean out the spikes it was best pushing the cleaning spike from the bottom end of the spikes (in the direction the plug would go out if it came out naturally). All in all a great tool !! Very satisfied ! Btw the only reason I only gave it 4 stars for "Easy to Use" was because... it is hard work .. not because of the tool itself.

Impressively made well that will last long, I did a few aeration and I was enjoying it a lot! Shipping to NZ was super quick too! It was estimated in 2 weeks but was delivered under 5 days upon ordering. I'll write another review once I've had it for a few months to confirm the durability and the build quality.

I am very happy with this purchase. It has been easy to use and is well made. I especially like that the bar for the foot is above the plugs so there is no interference.

Nice construction, but really just doesn't work at all. I put it together and within 4 pushes into the ground, the core holes were BADLY clogged. It took a bit to get them unclogged, only to have this happen again. Was bummed! I unfortunately don't recommend this tool
