I have been using this to help my lawn a bit with different things. They are to help my lawn grow a bit, level the ground it is on a bit, and allow me tp place lawn seeds into the ground. The material is very strong and sturdy. I like that it is not twist attachment. The simple latch mechanism makes it feel more secured. The latch can withstand a good amount of stress sp you do not have to worry about anything breaking off. The spikes are durable and are able to penetrate the ground. There is a spot for your foot to help push the spikes down without fear of it going on way or the other and turning your ankle. It does a good job with flattening the ground. It grips well but the material is easy to get dirty and hard to clean the handles. I am able to twist easily with. The spikes are not super sharp but still handle with care as it can still puncture with enough force. The spikes have not had any issues with breaking but there is some light paint chipping. The assembled is really simple. The rode had no issues with bending or anything. It has helped with lawn maintenance. This is not really meant for big fields. For what I needed it for, it make quick work without me needing to bend my back. The grip does make it easy to hold with or without gloves. It is also easy to wash but the handles take a little longer to dry. You can easily take it apart if you want for easier storage. Overall this device has done pretty well for just your basic lawn maintenance. I would say if you want to work a little bit on your lawn without hurting your back this works. It is very strong and I like the latch as it does not coming apart easily. The spikes are strong and do not break off. The spot for your foot as well is large enough for a boot so you do not have to worry about your foot getting stuck or not being large enough.

This product is OK for small areas. Although the product seems good and easy to build, definitely not recommended for large areas. It’s a work out to do a large area and will take a toll on the arms. It is suggested that once it enters the ground, give the handle a twist for better results. During the first use, two of the spikes bent but they were easy to replace and were included with the item. For proper results to your lawn I suggest contacting a professional with the proper machine.

After carefully unboxing and assembling the lawn air aerator, my husband was able to put it together without using any profanity (5 stars for that alone). Then he said it could be used as a weapon if needed as well, we will refrain from doing that at all costs. He promptly went outside to test it out, it went easy into the lawn and he was able to move around pretty freely, keeping in mind it had been raining all day. He said he would do the part that needed to have grass seed first, and if he felt he needed to have the entire yard done he would find a nice person who wanted to make a quick 20 bucks and in the process have a good leg workout too. Upon heading into the garage he found he had no grass seed, so tomorrow we will go pick some up and start the processes again as today's attempt was invain but very easy to do.

As a home owner, there are just so many things to upkeep around the house and one of the first things that people see when they come to your house is the front lawn. It has been a struggle for me to maintain a presentable lawn while not having a green thumb. On and off over the years, I've done some research into how to help the lawn grow. One of the advice that I've come across is the importance of aerating the soil.The Jardineer Spike Lawn Air Aerator is a well-built tool to do just what I need. The spikes help to poke holes in the soil to the root layer for better gas exchange, providing the roots the essential oxygen to help the lawn grow.This tool comes in three pieces and is well packaged. The three parts are attached by some nuts and bolts and stands up at about 4 feet tall, meaning I don't have to bend over too much to use the tool. There are also a few extra spikes included in case you break any.The tool was easy to assemble and I found that it worked well. The spikes easily penetrate the dirt with just a push from the back muscles on the downward swing. The Jardineer has better penetration than those spikes you wear on your feet as you can use gravity to your advantage. After a while, the up and down motion of the tool becomes somewhat therapeutic. Pop a good audiobook into my earbuds and I'm content for a long while.I'm hoping to really see a difference in my lawn with careful weeding, watering, and aerating.

Product does come disassembled but it’s really easy to put together; it took about 5 minutes to combine it all. It seems very sturdy and feels like it will last awhile. It’s easy to use but might not be the best for large lawns. It’s going to depend on your lawn/soil but it was really easy to stick into the ground. I do wish the nails were a little thicker.
