My son has special needs and kept messing with the thermostat as a joke. He didn’t understand it wasn’t a game so our electric bill went up so high! So I bought this. Love it! Works as it should and saving money

This was the perfect size for my thermostat. Went up easily and seems to be made of quality materials. The price point was just right compared to home depot and now the young kids can't mess with the heat and air temps. Very highly recommend.

Read the instructions, which, of course was limited on how to set the three digit code set the code went back. Try to unlock it. It wouldn’t unlock try to use the key that was provided to unlock it manually. The key wouldn’t go in was able to get someone to come out with a generic Little instrument screwdriver and they were able to get it open but of course I have to go and try to figure out how to properly sit the code so that I can open and close it when I need to otherwise it’s defeating the purpose because it’s not locked and the kids are doing what they do changing the AC in the air throughout the night without permission.

Works great to keep my thermostat on the "POLAR BEAR PLUNGE" temp that I keep my house in the summer. My 15 year old had been secretly turning our thermostat up to 86 in the summer, because he didn't like the 64 degrees I had the thermostat set on. We couldn't figure it out, until one day I caught him doing it. This case was easy to install and was a decent price to pay, especially for the comfort I get knowing no one but my husband and I can change the thermostat temps. I was afraid it would look tacky but it looks fine and it fit perfectly!

I use this instead as a lock for my light switch so no one can turn off the outside lights for my short-term rental. Very great and easy to install.

So our cats are able to reach the thermostat and cause havoc so I decided to get this thermostat lock box to stop them from randomly adjusting the temperature. Although this lock box is clear, it is still a little bulky looking on the wall and you can see the 4 screws so it doesn’t look that clean. The combination lock is a good idea versus the traditional key lock that I know I’ll end up losing, but it is small and hard to work, especially if you have larger hands, so may not be as suitable for those wanting regular access to the thermostat…..Fortunately, I have a smart thermostat so I’ll rarely need physical access to my thermostat so it doesn’t really bother me so much.Installation is pretty straightforward once you figure out how it fits together and works. The build quality is basic but the locking mechanism does seem very solid. Overall, not the most attractive thing to put on your wall, but at least it’s clear and protects my thermostat… and that’s why I got it. Happy with it so far.

I needed to replace a thermostat cover that broke so I got this one, figuring the combination would mean no lost keys.I wasn't sure how sturdy it would be, as my old one could be jimmied open by just using a thin item to push up the arm of the cam lock. Before I installed it, I messed around with it to see if it could be forced but it held strong, so I'm thrilled

I like it for the smaller thermostat but it didn't work with the larger thermostat.
