Easy to install. This works perfectly for my upstairs thermostat. Now my kids can’t accidentally change the settings. It came with two keys, which is good for someone that loses keys often. It’s durable and a great value.

If you ever find yourself in a similar situation where your electric bill has skyrocketed because someone is secretly adjusting the thermostat while you’re away, I highly recommend getting a lock box, especially if you don’t have a Bluetooth thermostat. It’s sturdy, easy to install (took less than 10 minutes), and even comes with drywall screws!

This was super easy to install. Serves its purpose of keeping others in the household from constantly changing the settings on the thermostat. Seems to be made with durable hard plastic.
