I have an original Nest Learning Thermostat and the wall plate has gotten yellowish over the years. I just moved into a new place, and this wall plate makes a world of difference in the appearance of the thermostat on a freshly painted wall. The Nest Learning Thermostat fits perfectly into position, and while it came with new screws, I just used the ones from the old thermostat that was removed. Overall a great product, I was surprised to find the correct wall plate for a thermostat more than 10 years old with many generations of Nest thermostats released since then!

Was gifted a 2nd gen Nest thermometer & installed it in place of an older rectangle one that was in the house I just rented.... Worked well, but looked bad where they had painted around it. This covers the entire area where the old one was and then some. Looks very nice now :-)
