Thermostat Wall Plate: The wall plate cover is compatible with most Honeywell thermostats (such as RTH9580WF, RTH9585WF1004, TH9320WF5003, RTH6570E) and the Prestige IAQ that has the same footprint.(Please check your thermostat model before ordering.)

Cover Up Wall Defects: The thermostat wall plate can cover unsightly stains around the old thermostat and seamlessly blend with the wall, making your wall look cleaner and more beautiful, adding even colors to the environment around the thermostat.
Easy Installation: Please disconnect power before beginning installation. Pull the newly installed thermostat back from the wall, unfasten all wires and unscrew the mounting plate, then add the cover plate, align the mounting plate with the cover plate, and reconnect everything. Package Included: The THP2400A1027 cover plate assembly contains two cover plates (Small backplate: 5-33/64x4-21/64; Large backplate:6-7/8x5.),one bracket, two flat head screws and two pan head screws. Was perfect for me! The opening behind the Thermostat was a bit larger than the new thermostat so it wasn’t pretty ): I used one of the two plates provided and PRESTO! Beautiful, EZ fix to an aesthetic challenge. Good price too (:

I was replacing a T6 unit so the area behind it wasn't fully painted on the wall, This hides all of that and looks really good behind the new unit.
